Drag Racing, Roller Derby, NHRA, IHRA, ADRL, FFW, NOPI, Writing, photography, volleyball, working out, music, movies.
I currently race in FFW Pro 5.0 and ADRL Pro Modified... My car is a BABY PRO MOD, one day it'll grow up to be a BIG time promod!
Music
Anything by: Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, Three Days Grace, Trapt, Staind, Breaking Benjamin, Hinder, Saving Abel. I get into the country kick every now and again, usually the mushy ballads. Classic Rock favorites include: Hotel California-Eagles, Brown Eyed Girl-VanMorrison, Summer of 69-Bryan Adams, Your Love-The Outfield, lots of Bon Jovi, GnR, AC/DC. I miss my spanish salsa & rock... I listen to it all! Just got back into the House/Techno kick: so far I'm rediscovering Tiesto, Louie DeVito, Happy Hardcore, DJ Pulse, Paul VanDyke
Movies
Movies... I don't get out to them enough! I mostly like all the cliche romantic comedy flicks, some action movies every now and then, but NEVER any horror or scary... I'm too much of a whimp.
Television
Don't really have the time for TV... unless NHRA Today or Driving Force counts.
Books
My monthly guilty pleasures...Glamour, Cosmo, Latina, Allure, and all the rest of the testaments of the Girly Bible. And then in sharp contrast, I read the boy bibles too: Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords, Hot Rod, National Dragster, Drag Review, 5.0, Modern Mustangs.... I'm just good like that.

Lets see, I'm 28 and living in Huntsville, AL. Its a big change from Orlando, but I like it. I work in marketing, and I'm addicted to speed. Literally. As in 200-mph-in-less-than-7-seconds 1/4 mile drag racing. I love driving, there's nothing like matting the throttle and being pinned back to the seat, but I also love being under the "hood" myself working, too. 2006 was my first year in PRO, and I finished the year in 2nd place. My ultimate goal is to race full time with the NHRA, and I'm not stopping until I get there! Here's my personal racing site: Horsepower & Heels for more about that. CHECK IT OUT!
Here's the randomness that is me: I'm goofy. Spontaneous. Very laid-back. Strong courage of convictions. Very loyal. Always full of contradictions. I'm the girl that's always just "one of the guys" ~But also very much a "girl". I love my friends. I love my big, crazy family~ But I don't mind entertaining myself. I love and laugh with everything inside me. I fall into "funks" occasionally. I HATE, HATE, HATE Drama. I'm a huge people-person. I like "figuring" people out.. (yep, too late, I'm already in your head) ~But I'm mysterious about my own thoughts; a tough cookie to crack. I'm not judgmental, but I will call it as I see it. I have a high threshold on my LATIN TEMPER, but once you piss me off-LOOKOUT! I'm a gearhead, and probably know more about cars than 80% of the male population, and am not afraid to say so. I am determined in racing. I don't get rattled very easily. I like writing. My favorite colors are red/black. I love the beach. I'm a night person. I live for the "moments" in life. Completely unexpected. Stupid people annoy me. I have a high IQ, which sometimes is as much a curse as it is a blessing. It takes strong people to keep up with me. I have no patience sometimes. I start random conversations with total strangers. I'm addicted to CHOCOLATE & CARBS. Mmmmm... I'm an Adkins' Nightmare. I'm a candle freak. Summer is my favorite time of year... the hotter the better. But, I love fireplaces. I'm a snuggle-bug. I'm too generous sometimes. I love tequila. HATE Vodka. I'm silly. I love making people laugh. But most importantly, I LOVE TO LIVE.
I am 1/2 Boriqua, 1/2 Cubana by genetics, but I'm also a little bit redneck, part big city girl, but just a bit country. I am a little bit ghetto at times, a lot of Miami heart, NYC, and West Coast all in one. I have friends in all walks of life and I take a piece of it all with me.
Help support my racing! Stop by my *e-store* for Horsepower & Heels merchandise!
Special thanks to the sponsors who have helped me:
Who I'd like to meet: Someone who has enough money to sponsor my racecar would sure be nice, but I'll settle for cool people and old friends!

Good evening Friend!!!!
Hope all is doing well for you and your family!! I'm
dropping in on your avenue to show you love and bless your heart! As i sit here and
think, my
thoughts for tonight are; a time for readjustment; In the seventh year
there shall be a sabbath of solemn rest for the land! (Leviticus
25:4)....With our busy schedules and our hectic pace of life, we too
need readjustment. demands of work, family, and church can require
reevaluation. One way we do that is by observing the sabbath
principle--making sure to set aside time to rest and prayerfully
refocus our priorities. Jesus, for example, went "to a solitary
place; and there He prayed" When can you pull aside from your
activities and prayerfully ask god to reset your spiritual calender to
His Word and His will? Is it time for a readjustment? To face life's
many challenges and overcome each test. The lord tells us to take the
time To stop, to pray, to rest! To make the most of your time, take
time to pray! Take care! Have a very safe, blessed
night and morning to come! Always! Mark
