Hospital Of death are an 80's styled party thrash band from Cheshire.
Formed in the mid-nineties in the midst of the underground tape trading scene, the band was formed to play a one off high school gig and quickly disbanded after their graduation. Having reformed at a band renunion party in late 2006, H.O.D. (A schoolyard nod to NYC's Stormtroopers Of Death) formed to share their love for the scene that crafted them.
The mission of H.O.D. is to create NWOBHM inspired thrash metal that enduces the listener to drink and party heavily. Their music is created, promoted & distributed freely with no constraints or budget & promotion is solely based on word of mouth and online (replacing tape) trading with other like minded listeners & artists who have a 'passion for the thrashin'. Gigs can be organised by contacting the band who will play anywhere providing beer for free.

• Formed - 1994 at high school, HOD played one gig…. Badly. 3/5 of us got laid afterards so that made it ok.
• Re-formed - 2006 A bi-product of talking drunken shit in nightclubs. Turns out that playing thrash / with ourselves for 12 years actually made us pretty good.
• Live shows - Nowadays play gigs / house parties for 24 beers* and a cheese / crackers selection.

• Promoters - Who thought that the beer & cheese offer was a joke have been promptly frogmarched to a Tesco express (where it’s a bit pricier) as penance. *Brand of beer is negotiable

Why the hell were you so low down the bill last night? Its a disgrace. If I ever see 'Scum face' or that band that followed them, I'm kicking their asses. Arnocorps were pretty goddamn ballsy though.
