Hospital Of death are an 80's styled old school thrash metal band from sleepy Cheshire.
Formed in the mid-nineties in the midst of the underground tape trading scene, the band was formed to play a one off high school gig and quickly disbanded after their graduation. Having reformed at a band renunion party in late 2006, H.O.D. (A schoolyard nod to NYC's Stormtroopers Of Death) formed to share their love for the scene that crafted their lives from that gig onwards.
The mission of H.O.D. is to create a 50/50 mix of NWOBHM & old school thrash metal that enduces the listener to drink and party heavily. Their music is created, promoted & distributed freely with no constraints or budget & promotion is currently solely based on word of mouth and online (replacing tape) trading with other like minded listeners & artists who have a 'passion for the thrashin'. Gigs can be organised by contacting the band via their myspace site.

• Formed - 1994 at high school, HOD played one gig…. Badly. 3/5 of us got laid afterards so that made it ok.
• Re-formed - 2006 A bi-product of talking drunken shit in nightclubs. Turns out that playing thrash / with ourselves for 12 years actually made us pretty good.

• However, no members in hospital of Death are qualified doctors so please do not book us for complex surgery, however our bass player once burst his dogs anal glands to save paying the vet £25 so that must count for something.
• It is also to be noted that H.O.D. enjoy the hobbies of mountain golf, hungry hungry hippos and casual arson (cautioned).
