Hourglass Effect is the combined musical output of musicians Fran Wiradilaga (of Planet Of Sound & Left Behind fame) and Nick Gathany (the man behind the great Zyzzybalubah!). Both armed with a fascination for the subconscious worlds of dreams, and a love for good music, we've set out to record the epic sounds of surreal worlds.
We support a FUND THE ARTISTS movement. Your donations and album purchases go directly to us, bypassing any greedy corporations and companies that had nothing to do with the creation of the Hourglass Effect experience. These contributions then directly fund our time, equipment, instruments, and the creation of more and more music. We will continue to endlessly create music without limitation, as long as we can support the cause and our creations. Your help and support mean so much to us, and continues the creation of the art you love!!

This album will take you on a journey through innerspace realms beyond imagination. Through undiscovered forests inhabited by otherworldy creatures. Down deserted paths of impending danger. Into the bastion of destiny, and to the magic doors, where you must choose from a grim dark fate or a fantastic paradise. You'll travel through landscapes of indescribable beauty! terror! and suprise! Float up past the clouds and into space. Submit to the vast suction of a black hole, only to soar through the dimensions that lay on the other side. Immerse yourself within a structure that has no form, shape, or size, yet is filled to the brim with explosions of color and complex geometric shapes... spiraling ~, spinning ~~, cascading~~~... turning your very essence of being inside-out, upside down, backwards, and back again. Treat yourself to this experience of dreamy psychedelic splendor!
