Mr. House Quake's Interests

| General | I am more of a homebody... I love watching movies, dabbling on the 'net', playing cards, board games, cuddling, just talking, having friends and family over, etc. In the not to distant future, I plan to have a home theater set up, complete with soda fountain, popcorn and hot dogs to entertain on the big screen right at home. I also enjoy going out to dinner, the occasional movie and/or relaxing over a drink. And of course there is my music... I'm a major fan of PRINCE as well as other new and old school peeps who can bring the 'funk'. And of yeah... I can't forget my sports. Can't play worth shit... but I love watching and talking about them. I tend to make sure my Sunday afternoons are free during football season. | | Music | If no one can tell... I'm a major fan of PRINCE. I have been a fan for more than a quarter century. A lot of my personality as well as attitudes towards life, religion and sex has been influenced by the muzik I listen too and his more than most. I can listen to many styles of muzik... but my favorites are probably funk and neo soul. Nikka Costa, Janelle Monae, Van Hunt, Timbaland, Outkast and Kelis rank among my favorite artist out side of Prince.
As a Prince fan, a common question is, "What are my favorite albums by Prince?"

My least favorite would be New Power Soul, Graffiti Bridge and The Rainbow Children. | | Movies | I'll pretty much watch anything... though my heart is with Sci-Fi, Fantasy/Adventure and Action films.

When I do there is usually isn't anything specific I like watching out side of a few shows. I tend to hover around stations like the Sci-Fi network, VH1 and any of the science related channels like Discovery or Animal Planet.
My top five shows are:
1. Battlestar Galactica (new), 2. Heroes, 3. Smallville, 4. Jericho, 5. Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles, 6. Torchwood, 7. Stargate Atlantis | | Books | I don't read regular books like I used to... but I sure as hell read a lot of comics. I'm a DC fan for the most part. Some of my favorite titles include Justice League, Justice Society, the Superman titles, Legion of Super-heroes and many more.
Yes... I am such the geek. | | Heroes | The spiritual me may say Jesus for shedding his blood so that I may be saved. The racially conscious me would say Dr. Martin Luther King for leading the fight for my rights. But I'm going to say my favorite hero has to be HARRY S. STAMPER (Bruce Willis)... for saving the world from a giant asteroid in Armageddon! |

As a matter of fact, at times I'm too talkative. I don't like argueing... but I will readily debate any subject in a spirited manner; which is cool since I do know when to 'agree to dis-agree'. I would never want to lose a friendship over a minor difference of opinion nor would I ever want to hurt some-one due to something I said. I have a very good sense of humor.. although I tend to have a sharp wit and be somewhat cynical. I'll engage in conversations about any subject and am never afraid to voice my opinion... and am never scarred to hear the opinions of others
