I posted an lj entry about it; but I'll give you the short version. I came home and she was just lying on the ground, completely unlike her. I let her rest, came home from school and she was in the same spot. I picked her up and she was breathing, but pretty limp, didn't even want to move. She hadn't drank or eaten anything. I tried everything I could find online to get her to eat or drink, and finally had to take her to the vet hospital. They gave her a bunch of tests, $500 worth, and said they could either give her a kidney transplant for $11,000 or a hospital stay for twenty days for 16,000, and even then her chances weren't guaranteed. He told me she was in a lot of pain, unbearable and was biting the nurses (she's never bitten anyone!), so I decided to let her go instead of make her suffer. She would have been 2 in August, such a baby :(
