Humanbeatbox.com was established in 2002 by A-Plus, aka Mr. Alex Tew. Yes, that Alex Tew. The one who created the infamous Million Dollar Homepage. Humanbeatbox.com is the world's largest and most comprehensive web community dedicated to the artform known as human beatboxing. Now with over 48,000 members, Humanbeatbox.com strives to bring beatboxers from around the globe closer together, with more opportunities to meet, jam and collaborate.
In late 2004, Tyte took ownership, and since then the community has exploded. The site content is expanding every month with articles on everything from holding the mic, to layering, looping and mixing. There are loads of interviews with top beatboxers, and also a busy audio/video section which is chock full of links to different beatboxers media.
On Nov.1st 2007, Archangel became the 3rd owner of the site. As a respected and established member of the forums, he is aware of that which makes the site so fantabulous. The community! To that end, Humanbeatbox.com is now heavily into events in order to give the beatbox scene more 'real world' beatbox experiences. HBB organizes the International Beatbox Convention and the Vauxhall UK Beatbox Championships as well as operating the 5th Element Beatboxer Agency booking service.
