Azumbembo? The year of 2006 was one of great ascension for the Brazilian Underground Scene. There were countless gigs around the country, as well as the birth of bands of great quality. The fans of the so forgotten style could finally have the opportunity to watch to bands influenced by the same sound listened by them during years. In this context rises Hate Your Fate, a heavy rock band formed by four unscrupulous and immoral young dudes originated from the west of the Brazilian State called “Paraná”, land of no one. With the simple idea of playing Crossover, characterized by the mix of Metal and Hardcore, two styles that by many were considered as opposites, the band played its first concert during December of 2006. Full of joy with the repercussion and quality of the show, they decided to record a Demo CD with their own compositions from that period. In March the idea turned into reality, what gave birth to the EP “Laughing in Despair”, material composed of 6 Hate Your Fate songs, distributed by the band in association with Under Rock Records. With its line up stabilized and the participation at some underground events, Hate Your Fate keeps the distribution of its EP going on around the globe. Targeting a greater union between the stiles, the band fights to keep playing without sounding in a closed or forced way, independent of the tendencies in vogue in the mainstream or in the underground scene itself.
Azumbembo? O ano de 2006 foi um ano de grande ascensão do underground brasileiro. Voltaram a se alastrar pelo país inúmeros shows, bem como bandas de excelente qualidade. Os fãs dos estilos até então semi de leve esquecidos puderam ter a oportunidade de assistir a bandas influenciadas pelo mesmo som escutado por eles ao longo dos anos. Nesse contexto surge o Hate Your Fate, conjunto de rock pesado formado por quatro jovens inescrupolosos e imorais oriundos do velho oeste paranaense, terra de ninguém.
Com a simples idéia de tocar Crossover, caracterizado pela mistura do metal e do hardcore, dois estilos que por muitos foram considerados como opostos, a banda fez sua primeira atuação no mês de dezembro 2006. Empolgados com a repercussão e a qualidade do show, resolveram gravar uma demo com as músicas compostas até então.
Em março a idéia foi posta em prática, o que resultou no EP Laughing In Despair, material composto por 6 músicas de autoria própria, distribuído pela banda em conjunto com o selo Under Rock Records.
Com a formação estabilizada e a atuação em alguns eventos do underground paranaense, o Hate Your Fate continua a distribuição de seu EP pelo mundo afora. Intencionando uma união maior entre os estilos, a banda se esforça em continuar tocando sem tentar soar de uma maneira fechada ou forçada, independentemente das tendências em voga tanto no mainstream quanto na própria cena underground.
