HYPERCEPTIOHM - One of the most famous project of trance in scenery of Brasil,

A high level of technological intervention guaranties a special and unique live act full of emotion.
Hyperceptiohm- The name Hyperceptiohm appeared from an insight about the dimension of trance. Join the words "hyper" + "perception" + "ohm", this last word is the union of the "ohm" in physical science and the Indian yoga "ohm". This name reflects our music and proposes a full on morning trance capable to accelerate the perception with a mix of melody and a bit of aggressivity.
Our taste to trance started in 2002, when we were in Trancendence Festival, invited by a special friend. Fantastic! We discovered a new world and new horizons for music. Before we started trance we used to play progressive electronic rock in our farm studio in southest of Brazil, but we also played Brazilian rhythms too. We appreciate every dedicated and spiritual styles of music, since from ethnic, shamanic and jazz to modern electronic music.
As we are two brothers, and have different taste and we hear many things, like - GMS Wrecked M. , Infected M., Shpongle, Shulman, Eskimo, Tiesto, BT, Infusion and nu/rave bands... Progressive trance, house, goa trance and so on. We listen the music of our friends, Audio-X, Skulptor, Ital and others like Wrecked Machines. Each trance composer has some special to influence our music, we like since the softness of house to the agressivity of the trance.
To produce trance, we use a MACINTOSH G5 running with LOGIC STUDIO 8 and lots of VST plug ins. We like to make our own samples. Some external devices, as Motu 828, Alesis Nanoverb, USB midisport, LINE 6, some controllers are used to produce and in live acts. In live acts we use an MAC running with Ablenton 6, Nord Lead, an Alesis efx, mididrun and an Oxygen 8 controller. We are projecting our future live acts to be played with an electric midi guitar, synths and electronic midi drums, because we always played acoustic instruments and we want to make a real live act.
Trancendence, Universo Parallello and Tranceformation Festivals was the best party/rituals we played. Perfect structures, wonderful places and beautiful trance people full of energy. This festivals happen in middle of Brazil, deep in the tropical Nature... always amazing! it was great. But, obviously, we play in many lovely small private in/outdoor parties too, along this incredible country.
We think the scene in Brazil is one of the powerful scenes in the world and it is growing. In the Sao Paulo city the parties happen all days in a week, bringing thousands of people. Many air-opened festivals happen every weekend in beautiful farms. And together with this evolution, many good trance producers are emerging in the scene, people buying their computers and synths and starting to make music, modern composers.
