   About Bluetech

Bluetech- Honey in the Heart EP-
Guy J / System 7 / Fiord remixes + bonus track

Bluetech- Honey in the Heart EP (AlephZD02)
Release Date: June 9th, 2009

Beatport Exclusive: Search for "bluetech" on beatport.com

As a complementary to the new album from the master of downtempo electronica - Bluetech - The Divine Invasion, Aleph Zero is happy to present you with Honey in the Heart EP. With this EP, Bluetech, labeled by the New York Times as “one of the best ambient artists” crosses over to new territories.

We gave the happy bubbly dubby original with its swaying groove to three dance masters for their interpretation. Electronic and techno music pioneers System 7 deliver a technoish mover with great classic acid vibes and grabbing groove; The rising force in the techno and house scene, Fiord, present us with a no nonsense sneaky dancefloor shaker; And last but in no way least, Bedrock’s phenom Guy J gives us a caressing hypnotic emotional anthem with a beautiful irresistible melody.

As a bonus, Bluetech adds a slow dubby mover for the chillfloors - Hungry Ghosts.

Track list:
1. Honey in the Heart
2. Honey in the Heart (System 7 remix)
3. Honey in the Heart (Fiord remix)
4. Honey in the Heart (Guy J remix)
5. Hungry Ghosts

Finally it is here - the eagerly awaited third Bluetech album on Aleph Zero - The Divine Invasion. Three years in the making, The Divine Invasion offers an irresistible mix of spacey dubby beats, dreamy atmospheres and unique compositions. The same irresistible mix that made the New York Times label Bluetech as “one of the best ambient artists” following the release of his previous album - Sines and Singularities.

In The Divine Invasion, Bluetech, a master of downtempo electronica, goes deeper and farther into new uncharted territories. From his distinct mellow oceanic ambience, emerge playful complex sound games and subtle yet sweeping currents of emotion, amalgamating into wordless songs. Bluetech is a master in the art of creating danceable music full of ambience and ambient music that makes you dance, as The Divine Invasion perfectly proves. Hosted here are electronic music pioneers Mirror System (aka System 7), progressive trance dancefloor masters Ace Ventura and Lish, and Aleph Zero’s own Eitan Reiter.

A classically trained pianist and master of the art of software production. Bluetech's love of the melodic and exquisite sense of sound design makes him one of the most ingenius producers today.

Bluetech's sound emerges from his custom-built Reaktor instruments and software based synthesisers as a primordial electro-dub alchemy. While encompassing musical touches from different parts of the globe, he presents a total blend, crossing genres and borders.

Bluetech has created a label called Native State Records to release his own music and music from other artists who cross boundaries between ambient/chill and more idm/experimental sounds.

Not content to stay at home, Bluetech has toured extensively and performed in Japan, UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Croatia, France, Denmark, Mexico, United States, and Canada.

Bluetech has released two albums on Aleph Zero Records, an internationally acclaimed chill label run by recording artist Shulman, and is currently working on a third for release in 2008. Aleph Zero brought Bluetech's music to the attention of the international chill audience, and helped to launch his career worldwide through strong support and beautiful packaging. Stay tuned for the next chapter!

I tried to send you a letter...which was long and straight from the heart, and myspace flat out refused to give it to you - said you had your status posted as away...so here's the short version:

thank you for taking me on a psychedelic rollercoaster of bliss with your set last night. I am delighted that we got a chance to meet. I havent danced so profusely in quite awhile so thank you for igniting that. Also thanks for being approachable and open to talking about your music making process, Ive already started looking into Ableton and Im going to experiment with it as soon as I get a chance.
I listened to Divine Invasion again on my way to work this morning and it divinely invaded my heart space, which is the inevitable result of listening to your music.
Let me know if your playing tonight. If so, I will do my best to inform the masses and hopefully there will be a dense crowd to play for. Theres a ton of people in the New York area that are Bluetech enthusiasts, people who wholeheartedly appreciate your music and they will come through even on late notice.
If I don't catch you tonight, please come back to New York soon..enjoy playing at camp bisco and blessings to you on the rest of your tour and beyond. Love and thanks.
