I am a songwriter who has written over ten thousand songs. I've written a lot of country hits over the years for the likes of George Jones, Johnny Paycheck, Tammy Wynette, Johnny Cash, Tanya Tucker, Leon Russell, Charlie Louvin, Del Reeve, Melba Montgomery, Stoney Edwards, The Oakridge Boys and Elvis Presley.
I've written Heavy Metal Songs for the Dead Kennedy's and Pantera.
I've written songs for rappers such as Kid Rock, Uncle Kracker, and Canibus, who's version of "Take This Job and Shove it" was featured in the Movie Office Space.
A full length motion picture was made from my song called, "Take This Job and Shove It". I starred in other movies also including "The Last Days of Frank and Jessie James". "Lady Grey", and "Buckstone County Prison." Recently, the song , "Walking Bum" from my album, "Penitientery Blues" was featured in the Movie, "Talladega Nights" starring Will Ferrell.

I sent a comment 3 days ago but forget to say something about a pedal I use a lot. This other guitar player in Telogia Creek Band, has gone through 4 amps this year and a slough of pedals trying to get my sound. Even though right now I am using a RFX120 CRATE amp, that they don't make anymore, with awesome distortion, but, this one pedal has just about taken over all the other pedals I have used since the 70's. Since I am a great fan of Stevie Ray Vaughn, and seeing him perform, and reading everything that has been talked about....I have discovered that the TUBE SCREAMER TS 808 is everything you can ask for, clean overdrive with a bite!!! If you don't have a Rocktron, Furman, or whatever to put in a rack or on top of your amp......you're missing out. So much POWER!!!! Love it!!
