Janary 2, 2010
first off: since myspace won't let you download songs anymore? (at least not that we can find). we promised you that you would be able to download
I Guess This Wasn't The
Road To See The Wizard (feat OTAR)... so here it is: [
click the link].
and now it has come to an end of the year wrap up.
this year has been an eventful one for us.
we signed to a small label.
recorded and released an album.
toured 3 times through 20 states, and played 80-some shows.
we've been to the west coast, through the rockies and down to florida.
played a real stage at cornerstone festival.
and none of this would have been possible without you guys.
so thank you so much for your support.
now for upcoming news.
we're now on day two of our first tour of 2010. we've hit the road for just over a week with our new friends
The
Javelin Dance from Cincinatti Ohio. despite bad weather, our first show went pretty well. we've still got another 8 days left though, so we we hope to see you while we're
out.
after tour, however, we will be taking some time off. while 2009 was a pretty good year for the band, it was not so great for us individually. currently only one of us has a
job, and we will be taking some time off for people to get back on their feet financially. this is NOT to be confused with a HIATUS (only because that word usually implies
breaking up. which we are not.) this is simply ... time off. we've been going strong with only a few weekends off since we started over 3 and a half years ago and this is
probably a good thing for us emotionally as well.
this year has a lot in store for us, we feel. we've started working on a full length concept album, and have already written one full song and pieces to three others. we're
holding on to those for a while though until we break them out at a show. we're really trying to push ourselves as we write, and we hope that you will enjoy the end results.
we will say... some of what we are writing is the heaviest stuff we've written thusfar in our career, and we will say... please circle pit. we are also in the long-term search
for a good cover song.
we are also planning on filming a real music video for The Monotony Of Freedom sometime this year (potentially March, we aren't sure yet). for those of you who care about how
videos are made, we will not be doing a live video (we like storyline videos) for it, we've already started storyboarding the ideas and putting together a small cast. Lisa from
Only The Ashes Remain (who also recorded I Guess This Wasn't The Road To See The Wizard) will also be in charge of filming the video. (in the meantime, check out her other video
feats at
Dinosaur Garden.
we are also slowly writing all our material to date as sheet music. ideally this will include discontinued songs as well, just for posterity's sake.
so please bear with us as we go underground for a little while. we'll be back, and with a vengeance. (what does that even mean?.. i guess it means... more shows, new music and
more touring.)
SEE YOU ON THE ROAD!

we are quite bad at this updating what-not, it seems. we had more updates up, but accidentally lost them. so here is a list of more things going on in
doctor!doctor!
world.
we should be finishing up recording a song tomorrow to put up on our myspace soon. for those of you who have been around for a long time, you may know this song. hope you like
it. it will also be featuring the guest vocals of our friends in
Only The Ashes Remain.
this saturday will see the fall of a local institution with the closing of The Underground Cafe. after eight years, they are finally closing their doors and it will be a
melancholy time for some of us who have been around going to shows there for nearly that long. it would be amazing to see as many of you as possible there.
we are currently undergoing the gruelling process of writing new material for a new record. we will be keeping most of this under wraps for the time being. there are other new
things coming too... new merch, maybe a cover song, you'll just have to wait and see.
we'll be hitting the road for some brief stints again in the near future. we have four days in december coming up with Lost Apparitions from Dubuque Iowa, and will be spending
8 days on the road (kicking off January 1st) with The Javelin Dance from Cinncinatti Ohio. hope to see many of you in the upcoming months.

apparently we have not updated this news section since december 3, when we last put up a new profile.
well, it's that time again. we've put up another profile now, and we have a lot of news. so let's make a list, shall we?
1. obviously, WE HAVE A NEW PROFILE. that was simple. want some information about it?
well. for one, the photography was by
Piper Williams Photography. if this name sounds familiar to you, it
should, as he is.... our vocalist. need promo shots or album photography done? get ahold of him, it's what he does when we're not on tour.
our layout was by
neverwhere? design. this is also a job done while not on tour.
2. WE HAVE A NEW ALBUM COMING OUT IN 20 DAYS! it's called Enigma and will be the first release by
Lethargic
Drive Records out of Chicago.
3. we have a short week of tour with
The Blue Letter in a couple of weeks. come hang out with us there!
4. with the release of our album, we are kicking off the six week HELTER-SKELTOUR to the west coast and back again to promote our new album. this will be just us by ourselves.
we still have some dates open, if you can help us... get ahold of us!
5. we're going to be on the road as much as possible this year, so get ahold of us if you want us to come to your town. we are tentatively planning on heading out to New
England in the fall to round out all the states we didn't hit during the summer.
that might wrap things up for now.
KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE PAGE.
we should have even more new things before too long.

It's been a long time since our last update, so we'll do our best to bring you up to speed.
we've been on two tours and played many shows since june the 19th. we had a blast on our month out on the road, from Michigan to Cornerstone 2008 to Arkansas (you guys were
awesome) to Texas to Missouri and back. we met a lot of awesome people and slept very greatfully on many people's floors. we are forever indebted to you for your hospitality.
this goes doubly for Molly and her mother in Arkansas who let us crash for several days while we fixed our transmission and had a couple of days off.
we also journeyed a few weeks later into wisconsin for the first time and had a great time there as well. we'll be back, we promise.
whilst on the road, we ran into many mishaps including a blown transmission, closed venues and a leaking gas line and it took a toll on our resources and perhaps most
importantly our van. As many of you may have noticed at recent shows we are no longer driving the same van. While in recording in Lansing in early October.. Marcus Aurelius
broke down for the last time. We were fortunate however to quickly receive a van from one of Paul's relatives in New York. Enter '
the doggie barn.' Also known as
'
Ludwig VAN Beethoven.' Ludwig may only be a temporary member of our family, but we are ever so greatful to have him with us and were greatly despaired at the idea of
having to cancel shows.
as you may have noticed, we have a new profile up and also new recordings, and if you've been to a show recently you may have also noticed new merch as well. in the coming
months we will be offering up new songs, more new merch and new tours as well... so keep your eyes open for that! we will be recording (AGAIN!) with Chris from
Oceans Studio in Lansing MI in the near future and will be hopefully releasing a new EP sometime in the first few
months of 2009. if you need recording, definitely check him out.. he is affordable and the final product is definitely worth it.
again... thank you to everyone who has been so supportive in the last six months... two years... lifetimes... though a special thank you goes out to Lucas Zigler for enduring us
for three long weeks on the road through our most trying times. you were the one guy who kept up spirits when we were at our lowest points and for that we can't thank you
enough. we also owe a special thank you to The Shutterblade (aka... Megan) for all she has done for us since she met us. Without her this profile wouldn't exist (thank you for
the awesome pictures) and there are probably a lot less people in this world who would know who we are if it weren't for her telling everyone that she knows about us. thanks
for the awesome photography and for the friendship as well...
we love you all and hope to see as many of you as possible in the upcoming months,
♥

thanks to everyone who came out and supported us this weekend, it was great fun (despite a blown up guitar head...)
here are some pictures from the
show
we've got a bunch of new things coming... so keep your eyes peeled...

Well everyone, its a new year and time for a lot of new things to happen with doctor!doctor! We have recently been added to the roster of Black Atlantic, please go out and
check them out. Bryan from BA has been helping us out a lot and we really appreciate the work he's putting in. We also have picked up two new clothing sponsors: Zexb Wear and
ThunderVsLightning. New songs are being written, new merch is being designed, and there is certainly rumor of new promos and a new site design. Some good shows are coming up,
so help us out by coming out to them and just shooting us messages with nice things to say. Thank you to all our friends who have been so supportive lately. This is the
doctor!doctor! you've been waiting for.
thanks again,
doctor!doctor!

Hey there ladies and germs. We are saddened to have to tell you that we are not going to be going on tour this winter. After many weeks of trying to book and having very few
responses, money and merch issues, we decided it would be in our best interest to stay home. We are going to play the first 4 dates and the last 2 dates, but as for the others,
we have to cancel them. It really sucks and we really, REALLY want to go back out, but we just ran out of time and had to make a decision. Thank you so much for your continued
support. We love all of you. To those of you that helped us or tried to help us, we greatly appreciate it; more than you may realize. Hopefully, next tour will work out
better for us.
thanks again,
doctor!doctor!
October 20, 2007
hey guys... it's us again. thanks so much to everybody that came out to see us, Send The Dawn, Know Lyfe and the other bands at Karma last night... we had a blast... (and we're
all the more sore for it...)
next weekend (if you're interested) we are playing
TWO halloween shows at Eagles in Lake Station (indiana) and YOU SHOULD COME... BOTH NIGHTS WILL BE DIFFERENT!!!
and in other news... AUTOPSY FEST IS BACK ON... on November 24th we (with all the other bands that were scheduled for the fest) will be in Imlay City Michigan playing our hearts
out... if you can make.... you should.
doctor!doctor!
October 04, 2007
sorry to have to tell you this, but Autopsy Fest has been cancelled due to the venue pulling out 24 hours before doors were set to open... it's out of our hands, and out of the
promoters hands too... so don't hold it against them. (please)... we'll be back out that way soon enough (we hope... want us to come out there? yeah... help us book ...)
doctor!doctor!
September 30, 2007
all right everybody, really quick update... our next show is
AUTOPSY
FEST!... you want to see us? we're playing right after Kissy Face Fashion Faux-Pas at 10:40. you should be there all day... it starts at 10 in the morning... and with
39 bands playing for 12 bucks? you really don't want to miss it. so we'll see you guys there.
doctor!doctor!
September 19, 2007
well...this weekend was a bit of a downer... as we said goodbye to our friends in Rogers Met An Iranian... we're going to miss them, and wish them the best of luck in what
they're doing next. (in related news... check out The Crowned Virgin)
this weekend we'll be playing a GRAFFITI PARTY with our friends in Re-Inventing Yesterday, I Once Was and Their Teeth Will Be Of Lions... so you should come check it out.
we're also planning a winter tour for not long after Christmas... we'll be headed south (towards Texas) so be on the lookout for that.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ACTIVE CLOTHING SPONSOR!... if you know one and can hook us up... LET US KNOW!

August 4, 2007
thanks so much to everyone who came out to support our "coming home" show last night. we had a blast, despite the brief interlude for blood clean-up. officially we have ruled
last night's headwound as our worst injury so far. so for everyone who was there... congratulations, you just saw history in the making. pat now has a 2.5 inch gash just above
his forehead which will probably leave a bit of a mark. if you MISSED last nights show... you have a second chance to catch the mayhem TONIGHT at skunks nest in niles... or if
that is too far away ... perhaps TOMORROW night at the VFW in portage michigan. we promise.. tonight WILL be memorable, however, as it is our official LAST SHOW of this
tour.
in other news... if you live in the grand rapids area, or like showbread at all... WE WILL BE PLAYING WITH SHOWBREAD AT SKELLETONES ON AUGUST 30th. we can't stress enough how
excited we are about this show. come out... support. it's only 7 bucks. also... come welcome their new drummer... our friend Ricky (formerly of Our Hearts Hero.) it's going
to be a blast... so far we know that The Skies Revolt is also playing.
anyways... we will now return you to your normally scheduled programming... and we'll see AS MANY OF YOU as possible tonight in Niles.
