Q Magazine - "....an album as intimate as it is tuneful...." - 4/5
Clash Magazine - ...."At the heart of this record are sparkling, perfectly constructed pop songs, brimming with catchy choruses and joyful hand clapping. But, within moments, that delicate facade can fall away sharply to reveal an aggressive indie stance pulsing with electro madness....." - 8/10
Wears The Trousers - "....a gifted songwriter with an ear for traditional, high-art pop that she tweaks and customises into something delectably her own....." - 4/5
Uncut - "...Turnnidge is able to house her well-observed tales of heartbreak, loss and jealousy in beguiling chamber-pop arrangements, all the stronger for being so understated....." - 3/5
NME - ".....the Southend songwriter has managed to build her own distinct and powerfully pretty white picket fence of sound....." - 8/10
Subba-Cultcha - "....There’s still a raw feel to the tracks and the angular at times post-punk like style of the album makes Theoretical Girl an interesting proposition...." - 4/5
musicOMH - ".....dark, deep, mournful and rich while still managing to be a beautiful pop album..." - 4/5
Bearded - "....Turnnidge has the potential to become a real star....."
BBC - "......Mostly the standard is closer to that of The Biggest Mistake: a golden, swirling moment of beatific pop wonder......"
