Walter Benjamin is a modern songwriter, just like
the Modern Rock Song by Belle & Sebastian. He uses samplers and synthesizers on his songs,
along with a cheap acoustic guitar and a cheap sounding voice. Walter Benjamin was born in the
spring, although he doesn't remember where. After releasing the EP The Dog follows the Bull
(Merzbau, 2007), he spent a whole year recording his first album, The National Crisis. The
record contains twelve new songs written on the way home after disco.
He is a member of the Lisbon based folk collective
Goodbye Toulouse and the "almost rock" band Jesus, the Misunderstood.
Talvez seja tendencioso (e que traiçoeira tendência) mas The day the empire falls é mesmo fixe.
Se me permites a partilha, cá vai disto…
The man knew he was wrong, since he acted like the lover and the thief, so he left two stones for the luck as life insurance. Because you see, like Jackson Pollack, he knew, that we might never fall in love, and then nothing left but to be as soldiers with a cannonball, forever trapped in the lake of gold near to Paris or anywhere else...
Thanks! Well, hopefully soon! We had a great time there and I would love to go back! I remember when we got there we thought we had died in a car accident on the way and we had gone to music heaven.
