Selected Sessions is the first edition of a new series of DJ Mixes by Lenny Ibizarre. The Danish born and Ibiza based producer has over 120 releases to his name appearing on over 4 million records. This Double CD release is the 27th physical release of Ibizarre Records containing a mix of some of Lenny Ibizarre’s best productions and remixes as well as selections of his current favourite tracks by both established artists as well as emerging talent.

Lenny Ibizarre

Born Lennart Just Kisum Krarup in Copenhagen on August 2, 1972, Lenny Ibizarre has been a musician, composer, DJ and producer for over a decade.

Lenny Ibizarre broke into Ibiza's music scene in 1997 with his debut album The Ambient Collection: "An amalgamation of slow-burning funked-up retro-grooves clad in subliminal soundscapes of tender melancholy and inner peace", as the press put it at the time.

The album received great reviews from both the critics and chill-out DJs such as Jose Padilla from Cafe Del Mar with whom Lenny remixed and co-produced for a period of time.

Within a year Lenny was remixing artists such as the Doors, Bob Dylan and Bob Marley. His Remix of Riders on the Storm made its mark and Lenny was called to produce his first movie soundtracks.

Lenny Ibizarre proved himself as one the most successful producers in Chill-Out music, when The Chilled Ibiza Team's compilation Chilled Ibiza with Warner UK went multi-platinum.

Having firmly established himself as one of the driving forces of the Ibiza Chill-Out scene through continuous contributions to the best selling compilations, such as Cafe Del Mar

Whilst his productions encapsulate Ibiza's laid back Balearic Groove his DJ sets can range from upbeat ambient to tight progressive house. Lenny's Ibizarre's DJ sessions have become legendary in Ibiza as his passion for music transpires in sets that can easily last 6 hours.

Lenny Ibizarre has held residencies in Ibiza at Pacha, Space, Amnesia and Ku (now Privilege) and Café Del Mar. His DJ circuit is mostly international but you can still catch him spinning in Ibiza all season. Lenny also has his weekly show on Ibiza's Sonica Radio at 95.2 FM.

From compilations on Ministry of Sound to Café Del Mar, Lenny Ibizarre's music can be found on millions records. Both his discography and list of collaborations speak for themselves.
