Ici d'ailleurs est un label de musique indépendant originaire de Nancy.
Nous affichons depuis 1997 notre ouverture d'esprit musical et notre engagement pour une musique riche et variée. Nous proposons à ce jour plus de 70 albums de différents styles musicaux : pop, rock, électro, groove, hip hop, variété française, musique expérimentale ...
Le label a été créé autour de la production des premiers albums de Yann Tiersen et s'est rapidement développé sur une ligne artistique diversifiée, allant de la poésie concrète de Dominique Petitgand au noise rock de Zëro.
Nous nous sommes ouvert à la musique électronique en 2002 avec la division 0101. Celle-ci est dediée à tout style musical nécessitant l'utilisation d'un ordinateur lors du processus de création.
En collaboration avec l'éditeur l'Association et l'OuBaPo (OUvroir de BAnde-dessinée POtentielle), nous avons lancé en 2004 la collection OuMuPo (OUvroir de MUsique POtentielle). Chaque volume (6 à ce jour) est composé d'un CD de remixes (la source sonore étant l'ensemble de notre catalogue) et un livret BD de 16 à 20 pages. Les artistes participant sont soumis à des contraintes ludiques qui les libère du formatage.
Ici d'ailleurs... displays since 1997 its musical open-mindedness. The label offers a wide view of a current french creation through more than 70 releases, going from the concrete poetry of Dominique Petitgand to the house songs of Variety Lab, including soft jazzy tunes from Bed, moving avant rock from Amor Belhom Duo or the so personal style of Yann Tiersen ...
The label opened to electronic musics in 2002 with the division 0101 dedicated to electronica, groove, hip hop & other kind of good music using computers in the composition process.
We also created the OuMuPo remix collection in 2004.
CHAPELIER FOU is a young artist who explores for a few years interactions between his passion for electronic musics and the acoustic instruments he plays since his early childhood. He composes and perform addictive melodies and rythms to be discovered on stage and now on 2 EPs.
After AUX SOLITUDES and the best of POUR L'INSTANT, we're happy to announce the reissue of JEAN-PHILIPPE GOUDE 4 previous albums, previously released between 1994 and 2001. Compositions wich from now on are part of french audience imagination and probably of our cultural heritage.
The BOBBY FICHER EP gave a clue. DIESEL DEAD MACHINE, the band' second album, confirms that ZËRO decided to accelarate but keeps its capacity to disrupt rythms and create ambitious arrangements. Sharp and nervous rock at its best!
We reissue MATT ELLIOTT's last 3 albums in SONGS, a deluxe box containing 7 vinyls including one with 7 unreleased Failed Songs. The reissue will also be available in a low price CD box set. And for those who already owns one of it, the vinyls and Failed Songs will be available separatly on our website in a while.
THIS IMMORTAL COIL is a tribute to Coil gathering numerous artists in a band spirit for real re-interpretations, far away from traditionnal cover compilations. This project, managed during 4 years by the label is supporterd by Peter Christopherson, co-founder of Coil : "The most extra-ordinary, beautiful, and moving, re-interpretations of Coil I have ever heard!"
With (but before) Sister Iodine, DEITY GUNS were the main band of the french no-wave (avant rock ?) underground music during the early 90's. We release in march A RECOLLECTION, une reissue of their complete recordings livened up with 2 live sessions in 3 CD box set including a booklet with photos, posters, stories ...

We're very happy of this new collaboration with Yann Tiersen, the first artist signed by the label more thant 10 years ago. We take the occasion to propse 6 other albums in vinyl + free CD version inside.
