Influenced by 80s masters Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica, Ignitor's music is a blend of classic true metal with the power of today's greats like Primal Fear, Grave Digger and Brainstorm. Their MiniCD "Take to the Sky" was highlighted as Demo of the Month by Germany's Rock Hard magazine. PowerMetal.de voted Ignitor as one of the Top Newcomers of 2004.
Metal maestro Jason McMaster (Dangerous Toys, Watchtower) replaced Erika on vocals in late 2008. The band is pleased to announce that Ignitor's 3rd album, "The Spider Queen" will be released in the US on Heavy Artillery Records on 9/22/09, and in Europe and worldwide on Cruz del Sur Records on 9/14/2009.

I am completely devastated by this absolute tragedy, the METAL/Music community has lost yet another alltime great! Even though I didn't know MIDNIGHT (real name: John Patrick McDonald Jr.) personally... his voice and music has touched my soul and brought me through many a dark time in my own life! He will be missed dearly, and never be forgotten! MIDNIGHT will forever live on in all of our hearts and minds through his amazing voice! May his soul R.I.P.!

I'm a bit sad, that Erika istn't in your band anymore, I liked her voice, it fited very well the music. But Jasen McMaster is a legend. I wonder how you will sound with him.
