I.H.N.A.B.T.B. is a five-piece rock band from Russia.
This abbreviation decodes as “I Have Not Any Breakfast Today, Bitch!”
I.H.N.A.B.T.B. was founded in autumn of 2004 in Moscow, Russia.
Since this time they are known for their wild live shows, recitations of own cryptic poetry, excessive eclectic music and multi-instrumental experiments (when bandmembers exchanging their roles during all concert and sometimes using strange instruments and methods of soundextractions).
I.H.N.A.B.T.B. influenced by russian post-soviet avant-garde school (such as Auktyon, Zvuki Mu and S. Kuryokhin), contemporary europe and states noisy bands (such as Deerhoof, Liars, Black Eyes, Acoustic Ladyland, The Mars Volta…) and time-proved madcaps (such us Captain Beefheart, Frank Zappa, James Chance and the Contortions, Lounge Lizards and Syd Barrett…).
Except common rockstuff as guitars and drums I.H.N.A.B.T.B. sometimes use different instruments such as saxophone, flute, violin, clarinet, banjo, pipes and key-driven equipment to achieve more ambient and psychedelic effect!
I.H.N.A.B.T.B. got one self-released EP “All Egg’s Monkey Circus”(2005) which practically contained only live recordings.
Track “Sila-In The Duck-Mogila” in AVANT-2005 compilation
and one new track “Aphrodisiac” in AVANT-2007 compilation.
Band was worked on the debut album which scheduled to be released at the turn of the 2007.
But actually started 2 different albums.
The second I.H.N.A.B.T.B. album 'PORA TOPORA' (12 tracks in russian) released on CD and free mp3 on June 26 of 2009.
