Supercycle began in August 2007 the product of a husband and wife who decided to join forces after many years working on their own solo careers. Each on their own has had a really fun and exciting musical adventure. Jen/Queensyze has had much success as an electro/drum and breaks producer and Andy/Code Blue as a really scary hard drum and bass producer. As Code Blue, Andy has been released on Position Chrome, Black Hoe Alimony, Tune Inc. Recordings and has been played by Aphex Twin, The Panacea, Raiden etc. And as Queensyze, Jen's tracks have been released on Phonomental Records, In Da Jungle Recordings, Tune Inc. Recordings and is on Beatport and itunes. Together as Supercycle they make indie disco with a spacerock electro zombie edge. They released their first album "Pedal Faster" in November 2007 which received much attention and reviews in the blogosphere. Their second EP was released in Jan 2009 featuring the track "Rock Rock" produced alongside Private School (aka The Panacea). Their track "The Dead Walk" quickly followed which led to the launch of the Los Angeles based label Play Me Records headed by Reid Speed. And look out for a dj mix in Jan 2010 that Supercycle mixed for the Swedish label, Substream as well as a remix of This Morning Call's tune titled "Tides".
The future looks bright for these two crazy kids. They are dedicated, passionate, and in love with making beats and investigating new sounds and production ideas. Supercycle is the reason why these two get up in the morning.
