iMMa is an orgy of diverse hard rock delivered with tremendous self belief, and zeal that reaches the parts other artists cannot reach. The world might have a looming energy crisis at present, but there is no shortage here, there is enough to light up a small city. iMMa, originally was a band, a partnership between Erika Footman and Jonas Jalhay. After the 5 year partnership came to an end - Erika decided to carry iMMa as a solo project. Using fantastic players to play with her live some of these include: Jonas Jalhay (Guitar - Them is Me, Lady Sovereign), Giacomo Occhipinti (Bass), Doug Harper (Drums), Chris Nugent (Drums), Rich Watson (guitar), Rene Woollard (guitar) Mark Richardson (Drums - Feeder/Skunk Anasie), Wayne Richies (Drums - Skin).
Live -Each band member works their own zone prodigiously, communicating only through their music. Despite iMMa’s pre-gig nerves the stage is her own. Fear evaporates: she taunts, she flaunts, she rocks, but more importantly, she delivers. Huge vocal range, huge talent. Great to watch. These are early days for iMMa, but you really get the sense that something has arrived on the rock scene that hasn’t been around for a while.

Hey. Just a bit stressed re moving house (and everything else that goes with it) at the mo. Going to Leeds on Friday for househunting so fingers crossed. I think it's the whole living by myself thing that's freaking me out a bit.
