                              INDUCTION OF THE AMERICAN GUERRILLA 

 The strategy and tactics of American Guerrilla warfare tend to focus around the use of a small mobile force competing against a larger one. The American Guerrilla will focus on organizing in small units depending on the support of the local population also taking advantage of terrain which would be more accommodating of smaller units of American Guerrillas. Tactically the American Guerrilla would avoid any confrontation with large units of an enemy but seek and eliminate small groups of the enemy to minimize losses and tire the opposing force not just limiting their targets to the enemy but also enemy resources as they are main targets as well. All of that is to weaken the strength of an enemy and to cause the enemy to eventually be unable to enable war any longer and to force the enemy to withdraw. It is often misunderstood that the American Guerrilla may involve disguising as civilians to cause enemy troops to make it difficult for the enemy to tell the difference between friend from foe this is can be a primary feature of the American Guerrilla.  This type of American Guerrilla war can be practiced anywhere there are places for American Guerrillas to disguise themselves where such advantage cannot be made of use by a larger and more conventional force. The tactical effort in American Guerrilla warfare is directed at the weaknesses of the enemy and at destroying their military resistance capacity and should be equal to a psychological effort to weaken and destroy the enemy at the same time.  In American Guerrilla warfare more than in any other type of resistance the psychological activities should be simultaneous with the military activities in order to achieve freedom.    The enemy advances, and we retreat, the enemy camps, and we harass, the enemy sleeps, and we attack, the enemy retreats, we pursue.
