The Improviders were founded in May of 2000. Our first home was a lovely 50 seat theater in the heart of Burbank called Third Stage. Since 2003 the group has hopped jumped and some times skiped all over the valley. We started off as a short-form improv troupe, but seeing the glory of the iO West Cage Match and with some enormous help from Dave Carter, we found our calling. We are forever changing as a whole. The Improviders you see today are vastly differant then we were yesterday. We call whatever stage we’re on home and gladly welcome you in.
This past year has been a whirl-wind of excitement and laughs. All of us here at the Improviders would like to extend our thanks to those of you who went along for the ride. With your support we've been able to move on to bigger and better gigs. And yes, we still drink tall boys cleverly hidden with a paper bag. We'll never be above that.
We are back on the road to the Cage Match, with a few more stops along the way. So keep your eye out and we'll see ya at our next gig!
We would like to thank everyone who helped make the Improviders iO West Main Stage Cage Match Champions. Our current record is 10-3. Will we lace up our boots and go for another run? Only time will tell. We had a great time on top of the Improv Community.
The next photos are from our 7 month run of our Monday night shows at Ha Ha Cafe. Thank you all for making the House Party a Huge success!!!
Once again we would like to thank all of you who made our run at Ha Ha Comedy Club a success. 7 months of improv in a stand-up comedy club, oh yeah we did it.

A hero is no braver than an ordinary man, but he is braver five minutes longer.
the Improviders have been described as taking their game to the next level and providing something different & off the wall. An Improvider experience can only be described as a flurry of songs, laughter, and things respectable people shouldn't say in public. So keep an eye out for our next show. Catch the craze, it's better then having to hear about it from your friends.
This is the night Westside Eclectic won't soon forget
Catch one of our hottest shows of last year. All the madness unwinds on iO West Main Stage. But remember there is nothing like the Improviders LIVE!
It Fianlly Happened! iO West is Back in Full Swing!
Who I'd like to meet: We'd like to meet YOU! Nothing gives us greater joy than your laughter in the air and a smile on your face. Oh yeah, and a chicken in every pot. This is the best comedy show for your money. Why spend $13 at the movies where you have to watch a half hour of commercials before the show. You acutlly get to tell us what to do! Tell us where we are, what we're doing, hell you might even wind up on stage. We'll make you laugh harder than watching somebody else's grandma fall down the stairs, if thats your thing. And you'll have more fun than these lil' guys.
TALENT WANTED www.showbizzle.com showbizzle is looking for a video host to do our new behind-the-scene interviews and other humorous segments. It's paid! The wind-down after an Improvders show. Ezra: sticks his thumb out and hitch hikes back to Burbank, gets home drinks some more, watches late night TV, goes to sleep. Shawn: says "I gotta go to work in the morning", smokes a bowl, goes to sleep. Jennifer says "yay" one more time and goes to sleep a litle bit later. Scoot: logs onto myspace, looks at the "Scoot Army" birthday comment, maybe plays his guitar for a minute, then goes to sleep.
The Vets Show Improv veterans come from the Westside Eclectic teaching staff and around the city come to show off their stuff in this 40 minute fully improvised comedy set.
Would love to see you there!
