The fortnightly sessions alternate between 'Gig Nights' - usually £5 entry and a free entry 'Open Session' where members of the audience are invited to sit in for the second half.

INVENTION CONVENTION is a quarterly Free Improvisation/Free Jazz event in the fine acoustic setting of The Hexagon Theatre, Midlands Arts Centre. Each concert will bring together four of the worlds finest improvisers in various combinations - Solo, Duo, Trio and quartet.
