Welcome to Indica Sound System on Myspace. Indica Sound System established at the start of 2008 as a producer, musician, sound engineer and also a promoter.
A few years ago I started sound in the local area at parties with my friends under the name ‘Cultural Steppers’, there was about 4 of us, this lasted a few years until some members dropped out due to moving away and work. So I decided to start my own sound…
Indica started off launching projects which includes a record label with ‘Warrior Steppas’ (www.myspace.com/tidnrecords). As time went on I had got help from local DJ’s such as Nasha Entertainment which helped made Indica Sound System what it is today, a successful movement. The long awaited heavyweight sound system was completed during the start of 2009 and is now thumpin' in the dancehalls around you now! ! Indica also starred on NashaFM regularly during summer 2009 until the station was closed down. Indica Sound System is now working on building up a studio and also releasing a record label.
Finally, I would like to big up all heads that have supported Indica from creation, including Sanj & Errol Arawak (King Earthquake) for the guidance, NashaEnt family for the support & power, Niki for the help with this page, Tweeter Box (Precision Sounds) for the promotion, and many more to mention…
