There’s been major history between these four musicians, three of which have been to the big show and made a living out of the music industry. Decades apart in age and time played these four musicians have found the band they hope to ride out and retire with says Drummer Mike Carrillo. With such a heavy and powerful sound they command attention from the moment any one song on their debut album ‘Secrets and Lies’ (2007) is played. “Were so different as far as our style of play goes that I thought it would make it hard to find our sound, but it actually made it much easier,” says 23 year old Lead Guitarist Diego Ramirez, “we all knew we wanted to play rock music, and we loved it, I just never expected it to come out so powerful.” But all their success didn’t come at an easy price, “We’ve all bled for this album,” says Diego “We practiced six days a week 5 hours a day minimum while working full time jobs, and there is a lot of personal material for me on this album, and that made it a little nerve racking laying it down for me” he goes on to say “but we all love music and we couldn’t imagine doing anything else.” Joining the band in early 2008, Bassist Chris Alcaraz who had also played along side Mike and Ricky of Indout in a separate project, has brought a sharper heavier and brighter edge to the sound. With 15 years of music experience under his belt and the ability to express his musical ability freely along with one of the Best Drummers out there today. Chris and Mike are setting an amazing foundation for the new music being created by Indout. Simply put “It is what it is” says Indout Bassist Chris Alcaraz. With such a powerful and commanding sound they needed someone with the vocal ability to really capture the sound the way it was meant to be. And Ricky Scolari the front man for Indout is the one who brings it together, with his powerful voice and commanding stage presence he captures the audience all to easily. “Most of the Secrets and Lies album was written before I came to be with the band, but I did get a chance to write with these guys before we went in to record and I was impressed,” says Ricky “I had already played with Mike and Chris in a previous band, but never with Diego” Ricky goes on to say “These guys really had their shit together, and I was really impressed” he adds “But I have to say that the new songs we got cooking for the second album are gonna blow this album away!”
Indout is a name that’s growing fast along the underground scene, with only a handful of shows played in the past 2 years they have really started to make a name for themselves. There set to kick off a tour in the summer of 08’ where their going to play up and down California. “We can’t wait to get out there and play for our fans, we’ve waited so long and are itching to show the new material!!” says Diego. “Come see us play, well make you remember the name”
