Finally, After 4 long years of hard work, the masterpiece, Sven Barth & Induce are Casual Sax & The Saxual Revolution in The Blow Sven Theory, is out now on The Wonderful Sound!!!
To call this album an album seems an understatement. It is more than that, yet less, all at once. It's full of dirty snippets, lewd lyricism and blatant honesty, yet TBST is a tapestry. A tapestry full of sweat, semen, and wordplay that found it's way onto Perez Hilton's front page with nothing more than a tug on the proverbial sausage and a hook that included "dong". The time spent on the aforementioned lyrics can be placed in direct correlation with the time it takes to whip out the aforementioned "dong" from a set of loose undies. It was instantaneous, orgasmic and completely free of ink. That's right, all 21 of these beautifully crafted tracks are 100% freestyles.
- Get the digital album at iTunes, Amazon, Zune, and most major digital retail outlets.

JULY 2007
Back for the second time, the next installment of Induce’s Cuticle Scrapes stays new in the age of digital DJ’s. After the great success of the first Cuticle Scrapes on Counterflow Recordings, which completely sold out, featured help from DJ Infamous (Allies), and introduced the world to the idea of including 2 copies of the record for the price of one, Induce took a step back to reanalyze the current situation. And the answer was to simplify and update, which, aside from keeping costs low on the manufacturing end while still looking fresh to death with a gold foil cover, the digital DJ’s equivalent to the trademark Cuticle Scrapes second copy is now the free CD of Cuticle Scrapes Version 2 included with the vinyl. Staying simple, Induce includes what seems to be a normal 7 beats to cut to, 2 scratch sentences, a drum sentence, and a sine wave bass octave. Although, with further inspection, you can notice a certain string holding many of the tracks together, holding in high regard those who came before, while keeping it moving with new and fresh sounds and beats to cut to. And with all the Dilla tributes going around, now DJ’s can put together their own tribute routines with the drums and Sine wave bass octave included, which are reminiscent of the late producer’s innovative and revolutionary signature sound.
And while to many, Induce may have been keeping a low profile since the release of his debut album, Cycle, on his own WonderSound label, the opposite would be more accurate. Aside from becoming one of the most sought after DJ’s in Miami’s indy scene, playing at least 5 nights a week, and being able to go from classic Hip Hop to the latest indy-disco-electro-pop-whatever, Induce has also slowly but steadily built his reputation for his own productions. Following the Cycle release on CD, Induce went on to release a vinyl EP of Cycle, exclusive to Japan, which totally sold out. He then was featured on a compilation called Calderas of Mind, released by German indy imprint Project Mooncircle and from that, was asked to remix Mr. Cooper (formerly of Lex Records) for his “Amongst Strangers” 12”, which he considers one of his finest works to date. From there, Induce went on to release an EP of New York production duo known as Illfonics, which features a former member of Secret Frequency Crew (Counterflow Recordings). Most recently Induce’s “Coltrane’s Brain” from his Cycle album was featured on a Japanese compilation titled “StreetNoise 2: Home Alone, Enjoy The Mellow Note,” compiled by Calm. By the time Cuticle Scrapes Version 2 is in stores, his new Mixtape entitled More Iconic, Less Ironic will also be available for purchase. Lastly, he is currently working on the follow-up to Cycle, an all instrumental, straight up Hip Hop LP for fellow Miami producer Supersoul’s own Metatronix label.

BIO -
Even while some of his own good friends are still trying to figure him out, and this combination of stories and characteristics does not in any way fully represent who he is, INDUCE just really wants to make music. He wants to be heard. He wants you to know who he is.
It was early on in high school when INDUCE decided to be an MC. And while he had his hands in other aspects of the culture even in grade school, it wasn't until high school that he also decided to be a breaker and later, a DJ. Soon, the short poems and creative writing he was formerly fond of were replaced with recited verses from the likes of Q-Tip, Pos, and Monche. Break-dancing took the backseat after Djing increasingly became what felt like to him as the most logical progression, only to lead to the need to actually make music. Enter the MPC. Previous aspirations Exit. Even this story isn't as it seems, isn't as clear-cut as he would like it to be. He likes it that way though. He also likes the idea that everything is in the details. So what then, when details are left out? Where there is mystery, there is a will to uncover it.
Sometimes suffering from slight Multi Personality Disorder, INDUCE attributes that to the almost infinite amount of nouns that previously and currently influence his life. While his musical upbringing as a child was made up of 80's music and Top 40 radio, he later developed a need to hear, experience, and most of all, know new things. It may seem as if early-to-mid 90's Hip-Hop had a lot to do with this way of thinking. That is only partially true. INDUCE will never let go of the memory of the influence of one group in particular. A local, Miami-based forward thinking Hip-Hop group called The All, then made up of current members of Algorithm and Evolver. Previous notions of what Hip-Hop music can be Exit. These days, history is history and forward momentum is future, even if he must look back to keep it up. Public Enemy enables his activism. Coltrane makes him cry. Boards of Canada makes it possible to see particles of light. My Bloody Valentine is the end of it all.
Along with making music, INDUCE is co-founder of Counterflow Recordings, worked as Editor and writer for Tablist magazine, has written guest reviews in XLR8R, holds numerous DJ residencies in Miami, started his own Classic Black party, was featured in Adidas & XLR8R's Bedroom Rockers book, and is a self proclaimed vinyl junky. No smoke, no drink, no drugs, no meat, just vinyl. Most recently has started his own WonderSound record label.

Yo Induce!
Fatboy was dope. He started of the set with that song, " stuck in the middle with you" that's on the Reseirvor Dogs soundtrack. And of course he played star 69 (they know what is what but...) what was cool was that right in the middle of the set he busts out with salsa music. And also, somebody pressed the fire alarm and he had to stop the set for like ten minutes. He only played until like 330. There was also mad cilicone in the house.
