inErnest were a three piece band from Bishopbriggs near Glasgow. We formed in the Autumn of 2004 and disbanded near the end of 2006 to spread our rawk wings in other shapes and directions.
We all decided that inErnest had kind of run its course, and we wanted to end the band like we started it: As three handsome friends.
A big power Hi-5 to all the people who ever came to a gig, bought a CD or simply said nice things to us. We really appreciate it. Even if we showed it through rubbish banter between songs, we really did mean it.
We'll still use this page to kind of keep you updated about new musical endevours we take on, so stay tuned.
Hey in Ernest, just wanna let you know our NEW E.P. 'The Making' is out November 30th, samples of the Tracks are on our myspace or check out www.thebeatpoets.com
If you are a fan of The Paranoid Monkeys, and have enjoyed listening to our music over the years then you might like to know that we have recently had a name change. From this point forth we will be known as Some Brave Apollo.
For the first Nerve release of 2009, we're very proud to present the debut EP from Copenhagen's Jean Doe.
It's drum n bass tinged with detroit techno and deep house, from the glitchy beats of the title track to deep rolling vibes on "Nuance" and "Fibre" before fellow Copenhagen based producer Pyro joins him for the epic and uplifting "Ambitions in A Minor".
