Un métal transcendant au côté « Core » indéniable, gonflé de rythmiques atypiques puissantes mélangées à une voix très énervée ; tout ça ponctué de passages ambiants uniques en leur genre : difficile de présenter le style IFS … .. .. Créé en février 2002 et originaire de Dijon, IFS diminutif de In Free Structure est composé de 5 membres. En constante évolution c’est avec une grande facilité que le groupe commence à se faire un nom sur la scène locale. Un premier EP en 2004 suivi d’un Maxi en 2006, le groupe enchaîne alors les compos personnalisant à chaque fois un peu plus son univers musical. Grâce à une actualité souvent renouvelée IFS se produit une soixantaine de fois sur scène parfois aux côtés de groupes tels Black Bomb A, Zuul FX, L'esprit du Clan, Knocked Dawn... .. .. L’année 2007 représente un tournant crucial, avec le tournage d’un DVD Live et deux changements de line-up consécutifs. Désormais encadré par un manager, IFS n’a plus qu’un seul objectif : un premier album. 2008 résonne donc comme l’aboutissement d’une longue période de composition avec l’arrivée dans les bacs le 3 Juin 2008 du très surprenant « INNER STORIES ». Véritable concentré d’énergie positive, cet album totalement autoproduit s’annonce comme une très bonne surprise metal de l’année 2008. .. .. Après tant d’acharnement, IFS espère accrocher la confiance d’un label et par le biais de son point fort : le live, exporter sa musique vers de nouvelles frontières. A transcendent metal, with an undeniable « Core » side, some atypical and powerful rhythmics, mixed with a very nervous voice; all that punctuated with one of a kind ambient sequences: It’s hard to describe the IFS style, since it distinguish from the rest of French metal. .. .. Created in 2002 near Dijon, IFS diminutive of In Free Structure is formed of Five members. In a perpetual evolution, that’s with a disconcerting easiness that the band begins to grow over the local musical scene. First EP in 2004, followed by one Maxi in 2006, the band moves on the compositions, personalising each day more and more its musical universe. Thanks to a very often renewed event, IFS plays on stage with bands like Bomb A, Zuul FX, L'esprit du Clan, Noise Surgery, Knocked Dawn... .. .. The year 2007 represent a crucial turning point, with the shooting of a DVD Live and with two consecutive changes in the line-up. The band found a manager, and only thinks about the next level: a first album. 2008 resound as the result of a long period of composition with the coming out at the end of May of the very surprising “INNER STORIES”. Real condensed of positive energy, this album is totally self-produced and is announced as THE big surprise of the year. .. .. After all determination, IFS hopes attracting the trust of a label and thanks to its strong point: Live shows, exporting its typical songs through other borders.
