Offiziell wurde "In Full Strength" (damals unter dem Namen "Constantly Down") im März 2004 gegründet. Eigentlich entstand die Band aber Ende 2003. Gründungsmitglieder waren: Haris (Guitar), Pete (Vocals) und Thomas (Guitar). Alle hatten bis dato schon in verschiedenen anderen Bands gespielt, die sich aber zu diesem Zeitpunkt schon aufgelöst hatten oder gerade im Begriff waren sich aufzulösen. Ein Umstand der für nicht besonders gute Stimmung sorgte.
Aber man merkte trotzdem, dass es eine musikalische Harmonie gab und alle ähnliche Vorstellungen und Ziele hatten. Die ersten Stücke die nach und nach entstanden zeichneten sich durch eine gewisse "Rohheit und Brachialität" aus. Als sich dann immer mehr Material ansammelte, entschied man sich eine neue Band zu gründen.
Als dann klar wurde, dass sich die Band weiter entwickelte, schaute man sich nach einem neuen Drummer um. Nach einem einzigen Telefonat und einer gemeinsamen Probe, war Phil der neue Drummer der Band. Zur gleichen Zeit wurde ein neuer Proberaum gesucht und neues Equipmet angeschafft. Zudem nahm Kora die Rolle der neuen Bassistin ein.
In der folgenden Zeit spielte die Band fast jeden Monat einen, zwei oder drei Gigs mit namenhaften Bands wie z.B. 25 Ta Life, Knuckledust, Shai Hulud, Dead Hearts, Winds Of Plague, Arkangel, Retaliate (R.I.P. brothers!), All For Nothing, Liar (R.I.P.), Morda, Machine Made God, Neaera, Narziss, Six Reasons To Kill, Maintain, Koroded, Warhammer, NO, Core of Anger, End of Days, Nasty, Clobberin Time, Abolition, Fallbrawl, Deadsoil, Masakatsu, Tyrant Pearl (R.I.P.), Mort (R.I.P.), Zeroed und vielen anderen großartigen Bands.
Während der gesamten Zeit wurden neue Songs geschrieben und die Stilistik immer mehr in Richtung Hardcore gepusht. Eine Mixtur aus End-90er-Jahre-Hardcore und modernen Mosh- und Beatdown-Riffs entstand.
"Die Texte handeln vom täglichen Leben, der Ungerechtigkeit in dieser Welt, der Frustration, der Einsamkeit und dem Hass, der aus unseren schlechten Erfahrungen erwächst. Aber auch von der Hardcore-Szene und persönlichen Erlebnissen."
Von sexistischen, rassistischen und Gewalt verherrlichenden Texten distanziert sich die Band ganz eindeutig!! Die Welt ist schon beschissen genug.
2006 wurde dann in alter Hardcore D.I.Y. Tradition das 8-Track-Demo "We Won..t Forget" (benannt nach dem bekanntesten Song der Band) aufgenommen. Ausserdem beteiligte sich "Constantly Down" als einzige Hardcore-Band an dem Mr. Vain Records Sampler "Our Blood 4 Unity", auf dem sich auch die Bands Abyss of Eden, Abolition und NO befinden.
Ende 2006 entschied sich die Band ihren Namen "In Full Strength" zu ändern, da man sich mit der Aussage des alten Namens nicht mehr so recht identifizieren konnte.

Officially "In Full Strength" (former known as "Constantly Down") was formed in march 2004, but actually the original members Haris (guitar), Pete (vocals) and thomas (guitar) came together in the end of 2003.
All of them had played in different bands before, which were going to break up, or had been broken up at this time.
This fact caused a bad mood, but nonetheless a musical harmonie and a similar mental attitude was recogniced. The first songs were characterized by a certain rawness and brutality, and as more and more material accumulated, the decision to found a new band was made.
As it became clear that the band would enhance, they searched for a new drummer, and after a phonecall and a rehearsal, Phil became the new drummer of the band. A new rehearsal room and new equipment was acquired and Kora became the new bassplayer.
In the following time the band played about one, two or three gigs nearly every month with well-known bands like 25 Ta Life, Knuckledust, Shai Hulud, Dead Hearts, Winds Of Plague, Arkangel, Retaliate (R.I.P. brothers!), All For Nothing, Liar (R.I.P.), Morda, Machine Made God, Neaera, Narziss, Six Reasons To Kill, Maintain, Koroded, Warhammer, NO, Core of Anger, End of Days, Nasty, Clobberin Time, Abolition, Fallbrawl, Deadsoil, Masakatsu, Tyrant Pearl (R.I.P.), Mort (R.I.P.), Zeroed and many other great bands.
In the whole time new songs have been written. The stylistics have been pushed towards hardcore more and more, and became a mixture between End-90..s-Hardcore and modern Mosh- and Beatdownelements.
"The lyrics are about the daily life, the injustice in this world, frustration, loneliness and hate, caused by our bad experiences, but also about the hardcore-scene and personal experiences.
The band definitely dissociates from sexistic, racistic and pro-violence lyrics. The world is crappy enough.
2006 the 8-track-demo "We Won..t Forget" (named after the most known song) was recorded in hardcore D.I.Y tradition. Also "In Full Strength"
took part at the Mr. Vain Records sampler "Our Blood For Unity" as the only
hardcoreband between Abyss of Eden, Abolition and NO.
In winter 2006 the band decided to change the name into "In Full Strength"
because the members could not identify with the conclusion of the old name any more.
