In Loving Memory was formed in August 2005 with four musicians from two extreme metal bands, Forensick (Juanma, guitar & Raúl, bass) and Lost Emotions (Aitor, drums & Jorge, guitar).
In December 2005, after trying a lot of vocalist, Alaitz came into the band as soprano vocalist, so after a couple of months In Loving Memory started live shows, that led the band in November 2006 to the recording studio and gave birth a promo mini-cd, with 5 songs of melodic and melancholic doom metal, that had a great response among the reviewers and listeners.
In June 2007, Alaitz left the band and Juanma carried the vocal work, leading In Loving Memory to a deeper, more agonic and powerful sound.
Right now, In Loving Memory is working on their first full length, that will be recorded soon in 2008 and that will be titled “Tragedy & Moon”, featuring eight of the best songs In Loving Memory plays in these days.
In Loving Memory se formó en Agosto de 2005 con cuatro músicos provenientes de dos bandas de metal extremo, Forensick (Juanma, guitarra & Raúl, bajo) y Lost Emotions (Aitor, batería & Jorge, guitarra).
En Diciembre de 2005, tras probar numerosos vocalistas, Alaitz entra a formar parte de la banda como vocalista soprano, por lo que un par de meses más tarde In Loving Memoryempieza a ofrecer actuaciones en directo, y que culminan con la grabación en Noviembre de 2006 de un mini-cd promocional, con 5 temas de doom metal melódico y melancólico, y que tuvo una gran acogida por parte de la critica especializada, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.
En Junio de 2007, Alaitz deja la banda y Juanma toma las riendas de las voces, orientando a In Loving Memory hacia un sonido más profundo, agónico y potente.
Actualmente, In Loving Memory se encuentra preparando su primer larga duración de estudio, que será grabado en el primer trimestre de 2008, y que tendrá por título “Tragedy & Moon”, contando con ocho de los mejores temas que In Loving Memorytiene en la actualidad.

<br />Es verdad, vosotros estábais programados para telonearlos en Bilbao!! Desde luego que la actitud mostrada deja mucho que desear. Es una pena porque ahora van de diferentes, parece que no se acuerdan de que no hace demasiado tiempo a ellos les convenía apoyar a otros grupos mas grandes para darse a conocer ante un público mayor. Nosotros los teloneamos en 2004 y en el backstage no hubo amago ni de un sencillo saludo...es una lástima ver a un grupo auténtico convertido en un atajo de niños de papá "alternativos".
