The story of INNERFIRE began in january 2003 when Alin (guitars and vocals)),Flo(keyboards) and Patrick (guitars) decided to join their forces in the name of Dark/Death Metal. After the usual line up changes and the first gigs (with EPICA, THE OLD DEAD TREE, NOCTURNAL BREED), the band released his first album “In Blood we Trust” (Painkiller records 2004) with Fred (bass), Dahl (vocals) and Phil (drums) to complete the line-up. This album received positive reviews in Benelux metalzines. Soon after the release Alin has to left the band; quickly replaced by Arnaud(guitars). At the end of 2005, the band entered Jonathas studios to record their new EP “My Lycan Me” released early 2006. The following months, INNERFIRE shared the stage with some interesting bands (SINISTER, KORPIKLAANI, ABORTED, IN QUEST, AXAMENTA, CALLENISH CIRCLE, MARDUK, NECRODEATH) to promote this EP. In May 2007, the band entered the famous Berno Studio in Malmö (Sweden) to record their second album “Of Legends & Allegiance”, released in may 2008 (Painkiller records). This Dark/Death Metal offering already received very positive reviews in Germany (metal.de, powermetal.de, terrorverlag.de, legacy), in Austria (earshot.at) and in France (French metal.com, metallian). The band recently played with acts like BELPHEGOR, HATE, MELECHESH, SYBREED, ANOTHER MESSIAH, MASTER and THE LUCIFER PRINCIPLE. Laurent (drums) and Alex (bass) joined the crew some months ago and with a line up stronger than ever the wish of INNERFIRE is to play as more as possible to promote their Dark/Death Metal tunes.
