Le noyau dur du collectif est composé de 4 membres:
- Sediyanke aka Prophet G: lead vocal. Membre fondateur du groupe Kill Point (Guinée - Conakry).
Déjà 3 albums, 4 mixtapes et plusieurs albums produits avec le label Kill Point Production.
- Rascondel : lead vocal. membre fondateur du groupe Raisonnable Djelly (Guinée - Conakry).
1 album à son actif. Il s'occupe aussi de toute la partie graphique du collectif (vidéos, photos, flyers, clips, etc...)
- DJ Akor: DJ. Membre du label Lunik Production (France Grenoble).
Des participations sur plusieurs albums. Il a participé à la 5ème édition du festival "Le Rap aussi" en 2005 en Guinée.
- Skeez: compositeur. Membre du label Lunik Production (France - Grenoble).
Il a déjà collaboré avec de nombreux artistes. Il est aussi ingénieur du son au sein du collectif.
Influences
Les influences de tous les membres du collectifs sont assez différentes... Reaggae, Dancehall et Hip-Hop se mélangent dans une musique qui appuie des textes engagés et conscients.
Définir les influences de chacun serait trop long... Le mieux est d'écouter ce que ca donne !

"Insoumis" car c'est le mot qui reflète le plus le message du collectf, et "Sigui" qui en soussou (dialècte guinéen) veut dire "chanson".
Insoumis Sigui s'est formé en 2005. Chaque membre du collectif a son passé musical, son expérience et ses inspirations. Le collectif distille donc toutes ces influences dans une musique teintée de reggae, de hip hop et de dancehall.
L'objectif à long terme du collectif est d'instaurer un "pont musical" entre l'Afrique et L'Europe par le biais de la production musicale, des échanges, et de la formation.
Mais pour l'heure, le premier opus d'Insoumis Sigui vient de sortir en Guinée. Un 2ème volume va suivre bientôt, ainsi qu'un maxi en France. Une tournée est prévue pour l'été prochain en afrique....

I know our elections are supposedly coming soon (December), but I think that our current president will try to do like Lansana Conte which is to run the country until he dies. However, After seing what happened in Iran and how they are able to bring awareness to the rest of the world. I am certain that we (the Guineans) can make the world knowledgeable about the situation if the current president decids to remain in power. We must bring awareness to the rest of the world, we must stand up and say enough of dictatorship and we want democracy. the world is changing and we will not be left behind. We (the Guineans) must make a difference. One way we can make the world awrare of what's happening in Guinea is by tweetting. We need help, but until we say it, no one will kow. We have suffered from dictaors for over 50 years and we need change. The country is called "le chateau D'eau de la'afrique de l'ouest" but we don't have electricity or runnig water. We must stand up for our country and for the future generations.
