The band was formed upon Sean moving into Marco's flat (barely), bringing along a variety of hardware and software recording equipment. With minor influences of absinth and exotic animals we have composed what is present here among others that might make an appearance. The following preview was written by Tronic Glasgow for one of our gigs:
"Having been in and around the Tronic scene, playing live last year under the guise of Autoneck, a new project has spawned. Integra TV - comprising Sean Gillespie & Marco Vannucci - have a chilled ambient sound, with flowing melodies coupled together with gentle glitched beats reminiscent of artists like Plaid and Boards Of Canada, and the inspirational album that was Aphex Twin's 'Ambient Works 2'.
They had a top support slot with the magnificent Daedelus (Ninja Tune) at Miso just a few months ago, and has gained much admiration in and around Glasgow recently - from the likes of Dave Clark no less.
These guys are the perfect choice to open for Long Range. With their intimate down-tempo progressive sound, you're sure to instantly love their warm style as much as we do. The duo are at the start of a road which in 2008 looks like it's going to be a great musical journey. Having recently played live at the Hydro Connect festival Integra TV's talents have already been recognised by many within the scene."
We are also managed by underground Glasgow club night Tronic, who were kind enough to interview us, which can be found HERE.
We have also recently been signed to Alex Tronic Records for the release of our debut album, 'A Morning Announcement', which was released as a digital download on March 10th. Limited Edition Digipak to be released in a few weeks time. Click the button below to purchase from iTunes.
