After 25 years of producing and mixing (live and studio) the elite of Swedish and Jamaican artists, it is time for a new album from Internal Dread and his 13-man band The Reggaeterians.Disc 1 of the double CD Party Time contains 13 hard-hitting political and spiritual songs that analyses the current state of world affairs, while disc no.2 takes you on a journey through the dub-versions of the same songs, mixed by the only real Swedish dub-master; Internal Dread himself.
In this time of re-colonization of the poor countries of the world by the rich neo-imperialists, and the building of a worldwide empire under British/American flag, Internal finds a symbiosis between old spiritual wisdom and present political insight. Armed with songs like "GOD IS TOO BIG", "RECLAIM", "THE UNPEOPLE", "THINK POSITIVE" "AUM!REVOLUTION" he finds the mantra of resistance against the evil forces of today; AUM!REVOLUTION. Only the goodness of mankind can overcome the greed of today.
Its been 18 years since Internal released his first album (Easy Loving by the group Calcutta Transfer). In the meanwhile he has been providing top Swedish artists like Robyn, Stephen Simmonds, Awa Manneh, Papa Dee, Desmond Foster as well as with international stars like Michael Rose, Frankie Paul, Dennis Bovell, Eek-a-mouse with the sharp, crisp and fat live-sound that he is known for.
Few compromises has been made when making this record. We hope that you will enjoy "Party Time" as much as we do.
