Introvert is a zine i began to write in 1996. It was therapy for my transition from sophomore to junior in high school. It's only grown as a therapy since then. My love for zines started after a summer day of beholding an issue of Cometbus found in a record store in Washington D.C. Introvert is personal zine. Mostly fact and thoughts. What you read as fiction was probably a daydream, but was sparked by something totally true.
News:
Introvert #6 is NOW available!
This time around Introvert has come in the form of a 1/4 sized 32 page zine. It is a perzine that deals with the loss of my 4 month old nephew to SIDS. It includes the grief, healing, and my struggle with supporting my family through the past couple of years.
If you are interested in purchasing, it can be done for $1.75 through Pay Pal to nicole.introvert(at)gmail(dot)com. (please be specific in which issue you are ordering.)
You can also send $1.50 or $1 & a couple of stamps to: Nicole Introvert
P.O. Box 35501
Richmond, VA 23235 USA.
Equivalent trades are good but please ask first.
Introvert #4 & #5 are still available and can be purchased for $1 each, plus a couple stamps for shipping.
I'm also looking for distros to take on the zine. Please feel free to contact me at nicole.introvert@gmail.com if you are interested.
Introvert is currently available at the following distros: Sweet Candy
Please remember to listen to my zine reading via podcast done for The Fall Of Autumn: here...

What is FatGirl Speaks?
Founded on progressive feminist principles of size positivity and the promotion of natural body diversity, FatGirl Speaks is a show which seeks to energize, empower, uplift and celebrate women of size and our allies!
This year's theme is "Every Day is a Revolution!" To us, this means that all day, every day, each act of self-love and acceptance is a revolutionary act. Every time you defy a stereotype, or every time you willfully dare *not* to, you are being revolutionary! We want to celebrate you!
We met at the fest and I bought your zine. I really liked it, especially the Duplicity part. I was going to write something similar in my next zine! It's something I have thought about often.
