Inverse Order are teetering on the line that divides music's best-kept-secrets from the next-big-things. Their hook-laden, densely layered take on alternative rock has produced three successful radio singles and an incendiary six track EP released in late 2008.
Inverse Order was originally conceived within the walls of Auckland's venerable institution, record store Real Groovy when guitarist Thomas Watts and singer Neill Fraser finally met face-to-face after weeks of online musical courtship. A close bond was soon formed and shortly thereafter they welcomed James Dylan into the fold on bass and today operate as a four piece with drummer Bevan Dunning completing the line-up.
Having built momentum through long stints on major radio and music television, Inverse Order are walking the tightrope of the NZ music industry poised to cross-over to the mass consciousness.

The EP is the result of a grueling journey of sonic discovery with producer David Holmes (Jakob, Gramsci, Battle Circus) firmly at the helm. Spanning six tracks in it's 25 minutes, the EP is incredibly diverse threading together soaring choruses, moments of brutality and moments of perfect fragility.
The intriguing artwork featuring on the physical release are in fact decades old photographs discovered by Irish artist and photographer Sean Corcoran, see his site www.seancorcoranart.com for more information.

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
