Ira takes some time. Or maybe just a minute. If you want. The Band was formed in 2003 in Konstanz, Germany. They recorded a Longplayer called „The Body and the Soil“, published via Go-Kart Records. They played some shows, as headliner or opening act for bands like Unsane, Cult Of Luna, Daturah, The Ocean, Heaven Shall Burn and more.
The Music of Ira is not hunting for fast effects. They write songs some may call „epic“, lasting from 7-15 minutes. Listening is easy, if you want. It is dynamic, sometimes tricky, mostly high emotional music. Yes, it is melancholic. There are a lot of ingredients. Some parts are heavy, but there is a slight amount of pop-appeal scattered between the soundscapes. They try to create different atmospheres, images, expressions. If you lean into it, it could get intense.
In 2007 they entered the Tonstudio-45 in Koblenz and recorded 6 new songs. They met Alfred Hilsberg, owner of ZickZack/WSFA at a show. In March 2008 Singer Toby fixed the vocals with Tobias Levin at Electric Avenue Studios, Hamburg. The product that came out of this journey will be called „Visions of a Landscape“. Heute um 20 Uhr und am Freitag und Samstag um 22.30 Uhr zeigen wir LA PROMESSE, BE/FR/LU 1996, OmU von den Brüdern Luc und Jean-Pierre Dardenne über ein bedeutungsschwangeres Versprechen. DREI AFFEN, TUR/FR/IT, OmU wird am Freitag und Samstag um jeweils 20 Uhr vorgeführt. "Nichts sehen, nichts hören, nichts sagen" sind die drei Affen. Am Sonntag um 17 Uhr ist FULL METAL VILLAGE, D 2006 über ein Dorf im Heavy Metal Rausch zu sehen.
