im not too sure what other gods died for everyone not just followers- SOME ppl view the fact he died for everyone as a gimmmick to get more followers for god-
also if he died for everyone- why is there a hell? if he died for everyone- why must we ask for forgiveness? or to be saved? IF he was real and he died for mankind- he did so with stipulations- its still a trade- he dies and we must be saved or ask for forgiveness? we have to accept him- so he died for his followers as well-
hey MAY have existed and done awsome things- but what ppl have said about him over 1000s of years (i beleve IF he was real) has been distorted. i dont beleve he was the son of god- he MAY have just been a really rad person- jesus was like sooooooooooooo many before him-
it seems to me that a foundation of religious teachings were laid down- long befor jesus christ- many religions followed a type of blueprint- perseus,mithra,dyonyses- egyptian gods befor jesus- jesus is the new western god- and there will be more after him (i beleve)
ps- the word christ means annointed- jesus the annointed, not a last name.
he may or may not have existed- i cant argue that- i wasnt there- many claim he did exist, many claim he didnt. saint nick existed- but didnt fly around the world with raindeer! haha
