Island Dragway is a 1/4 mile drag strip tucked inside the farmland of Northwest New Jersey, about 7 miles west of Hackettstown. It has been owned and operated by the same family since 1960. We feature Friday Night Street Legal Drags to help kids keep racing off the streets, a Saturday bracket racing program, and Sunday test and tune sessions, along with other specialty events. We also run on select Wednesday nights throughout the summer. We are family oriented, have friendly staff and racers, and pride ourselves on our ability to keep racers and fans alike safe.
