The dynamic duo started when Remzy aka Stanley Steel at the age of ten rented action jackson at the local video store. He loved the soundtrack so much that he bought himself a casio, and took it with him on a pilgrimage to Pakistan, where he spent eight years recreating the sofa sounds of Herbie Hancock and Michael Kamen. Returning to his native of TFYR Macedonia he enlisted in the army and his remix of the Action Jackson score soon became the soundtrack of many a Balkan war. After the army the took his soundtrack with him to the west, Norway to be exact. Here he shopped for record labels pushing his demo of the Action Jackson score. However, he was flabbergasted to find that the west wasnt ready for his soothing casio sounds. So he started a band a called it Scorpion after the spider of the same name. They had a massive hit with the song Wind of Change in 1990 in the wake of the tearing down of the Berlin wall. After he was fired from the band because of "creative" differences he soon found refuge in some turntables his father bought him. Five years on he is 5 time DMC champion and world renown pastry chef. He knew he couldnt do all the work that was required of him as a dj alone, so he placed an ad in the paper for a djing partner, that was answered by ex-cop and boating enthusiast George Kuffs. Kuffs´brother had been killed a few years earlier and this had forced Kuffs to take over his district and become a cop. This was a line of work Kuffs entered with some dismay, but he soon found that he was doing some good and the job grew on him. But his lifelong infatuation with music kept calling him and in 2001 he gave in and answered an ad in the Gotham Gazette for a djing gig... and the rest, as they say, is history.
