‘It’s Undefined’ is an innovative business concept born by a passion and love for music.
Its Undefined recognises that there is a void in the market place for an affordable service that focuses solely on harnessing and fostering emerging musical talent. ‘It’s Undefined’ aims to be a support network and service provider for such artists.
The business is broken into the following sectors; Artist Management, Tour Mananagement, Event Management and Public Relations.
These are the vehicle for ‘It’s Undefined’ to celebrate musical diversity by supporting artists from all walks of life, musical backgrounds, fields, genres and formats, not limiting our services to metropolitan centers but also delving into regional and rural areas.
‘It’s Undefined’ acknowledges that there can be a lack of support for emerging artists and intends to fulfill this need within the artistic community. Music Management and Public Relations provide the means to draw together the artistic community and the wider community of the audience. In particular providing emerging acts with the option to adopt only the PR service without a management contract allows artists with a small budget to establish a public identity without exorbitant cost.

‘It’s Undefined’ intend to cater their services (PR & Managerial alike), to suit the individual budgets for such artists. Contractual terms and conditions will always be customised individually so that they agreeable and suitable to each artist/act and lock in duration terms and periods will never be standard and across the board, but also interchangeable.
The artist is paramount and ‘It's Undefined’ seeks to work with emerging artists, never against them. ‘It's Undefined’ respects that the identity of artists is fluid, not defined but precious, and values the natural growth of musical identity and creative innovation. To compliment innovation in music ‘It's Undefined’ is driven to innovate the relationship between artists and management and customise a service for each artist.
ARTIST MANAGEMENT
‘It’s Undefined’ realises that emerging artists rarely have the starting capital to be able to afford these services. Such artists are then forced to self manage and self promote, but in doing this are pressed for the time and effort it takes to juggle composing, recording and performing with booking gigs, contacting and promoting themselves to media outlets. What’s more they often lack the practical experience and industry know how that’s required, when dealing with radio, print and internet promotion, let alone the legal aspects like copyright and contractual issues. Our intention is to combat this scenario and offer a practical and beneficial remedy.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
Our intention is to offer affordable artist management and tailored PR services, to be catered to the specific needs of emerging artists. The idea is not to have these benefits exclusive to a managerial contract, but to offer them both as individual products.
EVENT/TOUR MANAGEMENT
Fuelled by a passion and love of what we do, ‘It’s Undefined’ intends to organise and promote events of a high quality and caliber, to always strive for excellence, precision and originality. ‘It’s Undefined’ also has strong ties with remote Australia and sees the benefit of operating events and tours outside the confines of a post code. It is essential to the spirit of ‘It’s Undefined’ to create opportunities for artists in remote areas and help them to generate interest within their own geographic location and beyond. Conversely, to encourage emerging artists within metropolitan areas to explore audiences in rural communities helps to establish not only entertainment for people in isolated areas, but an exchange of ideas between artists of different geographical location.
BUSINESS & DEVELOPMENT SKILLS
‘It’s Undefined’ wishes to fulfill the needs of these musicians by helping them establish not only sustainable careers but also help them to develop the skills to approach the commercial aspect of their careers with competence, integrity and accountability. To provide them with an affordable and specific tailored service/package that suits them and their budget. One major component of ‘It’s Undefined’ is the recognition that emerging artists don’t always want a full time manager but just need the coaching and tuition to learn to do it themselves. Through establishing networking skills and support for each artist the project will establish sustainable and viable careers and the support base to confidently self manage.
