Anything and everything really. I get bored quite easily if listening to one band, so I tend to just go for whatever's on the radio.

The Last King of Scotland; Children of Men; Starsky and Hutch; Hotel Rwanda
Television
Trashy channel 4 stuff - Wife Swap, that kind of thing; Neighbours; Grand Designs (I saw Kevin McCloud in Tie Rack at Edinburgh Airport - awesome!); think that's about it really.

About me: I want a word is a new approach to writing: an attempt at what could be the world's biggest literary collaboration, and a chance for up to ten thousand people to become involved in the writing of a single book.
Author Chris Baker is selling a total of 10,000 words at the price of £1 each. If you pay your pound, you can choose to contribute any word that you like. Then, when all ten thousand words have been sold, Chris will take these words, add a few more of his own, and weave them into a single, coherent story. When completed, the novel will be published, free of charge, as a downloadable pdf ebook and will be available to buy in conventional, printed, format.
If you're interested in contributing a word, or just finding out a bit more about the project, visit the website at www.iwantaword.com.
There's also an advert for the project currently hosted on youtube, which you can view here:
A lot of people have been asking me what I'm going to do with the money I make from the project. To be honest, until recently I hadn't given it much thought - the project is so far away from actually making any money that I didn't really seem worth thinking about! However, I've now decided that I'm going to give any money that I make from I want a word to my dad - he's the one who's given me the support and encouragement to get the project up and running, so I think he deserves it!
Who I'd like to meet: Budding authors; people who aren't afraid to try something different, and anyone with an interest in literature.
hey. its no problem. i dont think people who have something for a worthwhile cause get enough credit sometimes. i particuly support this as i read a hell of a lot and as a child, it was my saftey net/refuge. so i fully think that all children should get the oppertunity to read and broaden minds aswell.
hi. thank you for the add. i like the idea of this! i think it is a great way of getting people to write and actually contribute to some literary culture. nice one!
