But one thing is certainly true: Adam made an unmatchable start-up into the arts- and music-scenery throughout the last 5 years. The all-rounder Adam Qadamon just hit it off as he danced inside the shadows of the fine arts where his omnipresence could be felt despite his concealment. He's able to yell aloud without making the slightest sound just by his mere presence. Same thing about the brutal street- and performance artist that he is. As of his music, his works will shake your legs with a decent minimalism that expands to the max. So today, Dunkelstrom pronounces that after one year of making contact, we finally won Adam Qadamon for our label and together we will stand for a new beginning. His work becomes reloaded!

    I Will Never Be The Same Sporting a versatile sound that mixes hard-edge melodic rock with pulsing ambient and industrial chords, I Will Never Be The Same has garnered vast attention in a very short time. Lighting up the stage at the Viper Room in front of huge crowds and securing a spot on Dave Navarro's "Dark Matter" radio show, this band built their debut album, Standby, as a solo affair, but transformed it into a live spectacle that cannot be missed. "After a year and a half of writing and experimenting, the end result was IWNBTS," says Josh Atchley, the sole creator of Standby. But he continues, "I was looking at these songs from a live standpoint from the moment I started writing them." And it shows. I Will Never Be The Same brings confidence and dead-on-target precision to their live shows. Atchley - who's been writing, producing, and remixing for the past 10 years - has brought in veteran West Indian Girl bassist Francis Ten, guitarist Taylor Haycraft, and keyboardist Brittany Bao to realize the live sound. Their live performances have received glowing praise in The SFV News, Chicks With Guns Magazine, LA Woman Photo, and The Owl Mag. Aside from the Viper Room, the band has hit The Dakota Live Music Lounge, Pershing Square, The Roxy, Spaceland, and more. One of the most outstanding qualities of this band is that there are so many facets to their music. "Eyes Turning Black" was described on Dave Navarro's blog as being "Pink Floyd meets NIN," while Viktor Phoenix of Buzz Bands defines their sound thusly: "the likes of Depeche Mode, along with Him, Muse, IAMX and even Imogen Heap." Chicks With Guns noted similarities to indie electronic-rock Tweaker and early Orgy. All of these allusions and more are true, asStandby covers ample ground. Dense and vibrant soundscapes flow effortlessly from electronica to live instrumentation, blending clipped chords with raging open chord guitars, dance-rhythms with powerful rock drumming. Even the band's name holds an interesting story that hints at the many layers upon which the human experience rests, as reported by The SFV News: "When asked about the concept behind the name and the band, Atchley explained that he originally wanted to set up a Web site forum where people could post those moments in their lives that made them “not the same.” He would then take their stories, write them into song lyrics and give them credit on the album." While that idea may be saved for the future, there's no doubt that this creative musical force has garnered well-founded praise, as well as fans in many places. Unleashing their sound on independent radio and in dozens of venues, one thing is for certain: once you hear this band, you will never be the same.
