About me:
Right, music is my main interest so i'll write about that -
I got into electronic music through listening to industrial such as Front Line Assembly and
Nine Inch Nails at a time when I was heavily into death metal and grindcore. I used to
listen to the odd rave tape too but it was only when I heard Final Exposures Vortex played
on John Peels radio show it really clicked. I later started discovering stuff like Aphex
Twin, Autechre, Air Liquide, Biosphere and R&S Records in about 1993 and then Gabber a year
or so later.
It was when discovered a sound system called BWPT based in my hometown of
Loughborough in 1995 that I got into the kind of techno I make and play now. I have been
involved with BWPT ever since and later on a resident DJ and Live set at the techno night
Ugly Funk when it was based in Leicester. I have also played various nights round the country including Pure Filth in Nottingham and Bass Invaders in Glasgow and played alongside the likes of Neil Landstrumm, Tobias Schmidt, Jon Nuccle and Michael Forshaw.
I have been producing my own music since 1995 when I got my first synth and drum machine (Bass Station keyboard and Boss DR-550) I have a couple of tracks released, one being a track on a discogs.com
compilation ep and the other a remix of Michael Forshaws track 'Dumb' on Chan'n'Mikes 10.
Recently I have been playing live with fellow soundsystem cohort TEC-HO and plan to do more of that in the near future.
