Jackson Waters is a Nashville-based independent band with real commercial success and industry experience. Having been on Word/Warner Bros Records for two years, releasing an EP and full length album, they are familiar with the rigors of being a full time band.
After fully recouping their album to Word/ WB they decided to return to the independent world in order to maintain artistic integrity and reach the people who would connect best with their songs. The hit T.V. series "One Tree Hill" has used Jackson Waters songs in each of the last two seasons. The show played the entirety of both songs, spotlighting the band and establishing a friendship, claiming them as a "One Tree Hill band." Wal-Marts and Best Buy nation- wide play JW on their in-store networks.
The band has shared the stage with many artists in music industry, most notably with One Republic. They have a new EP with 5 new songs scheduled to release October 14th on iTunes and are actively involved in the booking and online community. They have garnered over 610,000 plays and counting on their myspace page and are currently booking dates for the end of 2008 and 2009.
