The Jacob Young Group has been togther since 2002 and is uniquely set up to reflect the styles and ideas of the musicians in the group. In 2002 they reorded an album with producer Manfred Eicher for the ECM label. Evening Falls was released worldwide in 2004. The album received rave reviews and the group toured and played concerts in Germany, Italy, France, Norway, Holland, Japan, South Korea, and China. The new Jacob Young Group album has come out, entitled; Sideways, also this time on the ECM label.
Besides leading his own group, Jacob works as a guitarplayer and composer with other artists and groups.
