M. Night Shamylan stuff is awesome. I am a romantic at heart so I have girlie flicks all over, but I am also an action lover ESPECIALLY if it has tough chicks kicking ass and blowing shit up. GIRL POWER! (IE. Elektra, Daredevil, X-Men, Resident Evil, Ultraviolet) You get the picture.
Television
I am a CSIs freak. Criminal Minds. ROME! This season is super torture HOT and I love seeing me all that naked man booty. (and then some :P). Dead Zone, 4400, Lost, Jericho, HEROES is the show I am truly digging at the moment. Although nothing beats out Grey's Anatomy. It's totally hot. :P If it's medical, criminal, or supernatural, I am watching it. (TG for DVR!"

Pretty much anyone who gives their all to the help and rescue of other human beings or helpless stray animals in need of love, care and shelter. The doctors who are smart enough to take care of me and make me feel better when before...it was a nightmare. The vets who care for my precious kitties and let me carry credit when I was down on my luck.

Who I'd like to meet:

Authors! Others who are taking the same journey I am. That includes those who are writing but have not yet been found. Don't ask me to read anything because I hate to hurt peoples feelings and I won't lie. I also want to meet Sarah McLachlan. Such a beautiful voice and the heart that must go with it to write such songs of depth...who wouldn't want to meet her? Witches. I have to add this in here because I am so SOLITARY and I long for teaching and guidance by the devoted ones who follow the path of the mother and truly understand that the power of peace and love means there ARE no wicked witches. The first woman president. Whoever she might be. That's really going to be a tough gig in this country and I'm in awe of anyone who would ever aspire that high in the old boys' club. My characters in my book. My GF and I are always saying how real they feel...almost like we emerge from the Nightwalker realm and are like Huh? You mean they're not real?! Then we disavow reality and insist that somewhere, in some universe, they are very much real and alive.

Hey. I just read a horror book that was pretty darn good for a first book. THE WOLFMAN by Nicholas Pekearo. The style throws you off at first, than you realise it's gritty old school. Like the first werewolf stories.
I think it would make a helluva guy flick if they kept it true to the voice of the author, right from the get go. Sadly, the author was a volunteer NY cop who was gunned down along with his partner. Far as I know, this was his only completed work, and this guy had a true talent. What a waste.
If you know any guys who are looking for a good old school werewolf story,and i do mean OLD SCHOOL this is their book. A hero who isn't heroic, but scarily realistic in his choices.
I have no idea why I picked it up. It' not what I read at all (no HEA porn in it, lol). It just drew me, and then I got sucked in.
Thought I'd let people know.
