JahSolidRock Entertainment is an international reggae movement. An initiative started in the Netherlands but Caribbean based. JahSolidRock independent music label brings forth real music for real people.

JahSolidRock does not comprimise with Babylon system. We bring strictly positive vibes: Be humble and thankfull instead of dealing with slackness and bling-bling

Childhood friends Linger and Denco shared the same interests in Reggae music which resulted in starting a soundsystem in the year 1990. They played by the name of Umojah Ashanti Sound and were known in the roots reggae scene in Europe. UASound used to play at the major reggae shows in The Netherlands during 1990 untill 1998. They have played alongside Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Brown, Burning spear, Itals, and so forth . During the dancehall era the interest for roots music in Europe started to get less attention; Linger and Denco decided to put the soundsystem thing in a lower speed, which resulted in a break up in 1998.

Nevertheless the love for reggae music is forever, which resulted in a second collaboration in 2007. " We both thought that it was time to bring the music to a higher level", Denco informs." In these times of digital music, and record companies looking for pretty faces instead of talented artists, we decided to do something about it". "No matter what kind of musical genre people play, music that comes from the heart and soul always touches people. Linger: " We always believed in the power of real instruments and that musicians are just as important as the singersî. It's that combination of musicians and artists that make the perfect musical product.î Look at all the best selling reggae albums of all time; the list of musicians mentioned, on the back of most albums, contain more then 20 musicians , each one doing his or her thing.

In 2007 , Linger and Denco hooked up with legendary producer and CEO of Silver Kamel T. Gorman, who is stationed in New York nowadays. With Patto, who came on board in 2008, Jahsolidrock was formed. With this unique alliance between Silver Kamel Audio, and Jahsolidrock Music , Benaissa's debut album tables turn was released in the summer of 2008. Entering the hitparades all over the world, and nominated for the reggae grammy awards and the IMA awards, the album proved to be very succesfull.

With a spectacular show from Jahsolidrock recording artists Lloyd de Meza and Benaissa on Chezidek's Rising Sun festival 2009 a new path was taken.

Currently Jahsolidrock Music is working on several projects with musicians/producers duo Marc Baronner and Manu Genius from Not Easy At All productions who share the same filosofy about quality reggae music. Working with Jamaican roots artists on several new and upcoming releases, 2010 promisses to be a year with high expectations..
