from all kinds of Detroit techno, Basic Channel, Elektro, Warp stuff to tons of Dub, Roots Reggae, Ska, Studio One, Channel One, Rhythm & Sound, digital dub like Tubby's Firehouse or Unity Sounds from the UK. Some HipHop, Disco up to old computer game soundtracks, obscure movies and the like...
Sounds Like
Digital Laptop Reggae. Classic Dub approach - but done with a computer, including all the tricks you can pull off with it!
We are a small record label based in Leipzig / Germany and we produce a kind of music here which we call - for the lack of a better term - DIGITAL LAPTOP REGGAE (DLR).This means nothing else but that we produce first and above all REGGAE music (or DUB) in it's classical sense, which in itself is nothing new, but since we're having a background of mostly electronic music we're doing this with the tools that are obvious to use for that purpose - computers and machines! While keeping the original Roots vibes in.
Don't forget to check the new free issue in the Jahtari NET-7" series. Fresh out now are two cracking disrupt versions of Jahtari killah riddims on this hissing low end
beauty: John Frum's deep "January Dub" and Blaze Dem's "Roots Defender". Both
of which originally appeared on our recent JTR01-12" and the following label
compilation "JAHTARIAN DUBBERS VOL. 1", now fresh out on CD. Put on your High-G suits and start a trip to where space is boundless over HERE.
Yeah - Jahtari T-shirts! We got our booties moving and finally managed to open up a nice Jahtari Dub Wear shop over at spreadshirt.net where you now can grab some funky fabrics printed with funny 8-bit Reggae designs. Impress your friends or humilate any enemy sound system - with style! All the fashion details HERE! Or go straight to JAHTARI DUB WEAR.

Jah Rasta Safari! Hope you are well - did you have a chance to listen to Incredible Dancing Machines yet? I still wanna put some of that out on Jahtari!!! Nx
