Seattle super producer and self proclaimed "great beat writer" Jake One steps from behind the boards to present his own debut full-length album, White Van Music. Polishing his production chops over the last decade, Jake One has crafted the musical soundscapes for everyone from De La Soul("Rock Co.Kane Flow" feat. MF DOOM) to 50 Cent ("All Of Me" feat. Mary J. Blige). With an impressive and diverse discography Jake One has managed to bring his sound from the underground to the Billboard Top 10 charts.
Featuring an engaging cast of emerging underground artists as well as some of Hip Hop's most respected mainstream acts, Jake One's White Van Music will blur the so called lines between underground and mainstream Hip Hop... just as his stellar production career has.

Yo man I used to roll with the emu emax 2 keyboard for the longest time....shit had no time code on the sequencer, had to do that shit freestyle every beat! Do 4 high hats then copy that shit to make a bar...then make sure I stop it at the right place so it looped on time! lol
just had a mix in my bedroom using the the white van album and holmes i just gotta thank you for dropping it so heavy, clean and precise - its like all encompassing.
hope your feeling pimp, coz thats some serious player action in the studio.
I know you don't need me to say it, but I just want to let you know that your production on DOOM's new album is just incredible. Especially "More Rhymin'".
I hope I don't sound like a dick but I was not all that familiar with your work until recently...but seriously dude, respect.
What do I have to do to get my mitts on one of these gems?? I'm guessing your a bit out of my range since I'm a starving artist here. I'm dropping my first LP this Summer though so I'm working on changing that.
Anyways, sorry for the long ass post. Keep doing your thing, you have my ear now man!
My how you've grown.. The body of work is tremendous, super producer and then some. The Truth instrumental track is the illest i've heard in a long time. Keep that shit up kid! Ghost
You are incredible man! A completely new musical inspiration in my life. As a white boy myself, your flow sounded so natural and unique I had thought you were black until I just found your page... Not to say that a few of us whities can't get down to some real shit, as you demonstate yourself! Keep composing for all of us, cuz I've never had a better time bumpin this solid shit for those West Chester hotties!!!
