BIOGRAPHY-
James Michael is a multi-platinum music producer, songwriter, mixer and recording artist - working with artists as diverse as Papa Roach, SIXX:AM, Mötley Crüe, Alanis Morissette, Hilary Duff, Saliva, Scorpions, Meat Loaf, Halestorm and many more.
In addition to his successful producing and writing career, Michael is co-founder and lead singer of the rock band Sixx:AM, which garnered the No.1 rock track of 2008, “Life is Beautiful”. Their debut album “The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack” stayed on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart for over 26 weeks, making it both a critical and commercial success.
Recently, James Michael produced, mixed and co-wrote Mötley Crüe's “Saints Of Los Angeles” album which debuted at No. 4 on the BillBoard Top 200 Album Chart and co-wrote 4 songs and co-produced 6 tracks on the new Papa Roach album "Metamorphosis", including the single "Lifeline", a No. 1 track for 6 weeks at Active Rock and a Top 5 track at Alternative Radio. "Metamorphosis" debuted at No.8 on the BillBoard Top 200 Album Chart. The Cruefest DVD featuring Mötley Crüe, Buckcherry, Papa Roach, SIXX:AM and Trapt was mixed in stereo and 5.1 by James and debuted at No. 1 on the BillBoard Top Music Videos Chart.
